Last Working Day!

Hello Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

Well, we have woken up to some sunshine and blue skies! It wasn't too cold and although there were clouds, there weren't many!

It beats the rain!
It was fun walking through the forest with the sun shining through the trees.

It maybe pretty but I can still sniff Rabbits!
There weren't many insects around, maybe it was because of the rain yesterday. We saw just one small butterfly and a couple of hover flies and that was it, maybe there will be more tomorrow, providing it stays sunny!

Almost an insect free zone!
Holly says that she likes pictures of the trees and long grass, just for a change!

Here we go, just for Holly Chops, no Insects, Woofers or Rabbits or even Two Legs!
Mind you, it can't last forever and before long Old Two Legs found a couple of Woofers enjoying a sniff!

I've sniffed that one before!
Tomorrow The Missus is off to the village hall for the last Crop before we go away, so, that means we can start getting all our stuff downstairs ready for loading into the caravan. The ferrets have been arguing over which cuddle cup they will take away and Eric was having 'discussions' with Monty over what squeaky ball they could take with them!

Tomorrow OTL will be loading up all the camera stuff and the moth trap. Then the next is Woofer Stuff followed by Ferret Stuff then it's OTL Stuff!

Right, I sniff dinner so I'd better get down stairs before that Holly chops eats it all!

Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

One More Day!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret again!

Here we are, getting all excited and looking forward to the wet of Scotland! Mind you, if we get lucky we will arrive on the back of the storm clouds and ride into the camp site on a wave of sunshine!

This morning we headed for the sea shore for our normal walk, out of the car we get and have a good sniff across the football field.

As we walked around the corner we bumped into a monster woofer the size of a horse!

It was enormous, I mean it was big, ugly and slobbering all over the place!

OTL managed to get in between this monster me and I ran off a bit to get away. Then this thing took a fancy to Holly and lolloped over to have a sniff but OTL, after taking a picture, just for the record, he managed to get this thing's attention and allowed Holly to get past and off she went like the woofer was after her!

You look tasty!
The owner of this thing came around the corner with another monster on a lead and called out to  this thing.

Hey! He called, 'Bear' come here!

Of course this monster took no notice of his TL and kept sniffing OTL!

Then, having got bored, he lolloped off!

We have never seen them before and we will be watching out for them!

As we carried on the rain started and it got worse and worse and before long it was enough to wash off all the slobber that monster had left on OTL's jacket!

And more rain is still up in the clouds!
Back home we got a good rub down with our towels and as a thank you to OTL, we let him use our towels to dry off his trousers that were soaking wet!
 they did!
Lunchtime the rain eased off enough for us to get out again and the flowers opened up across the field, looked right pretty!

A proper wild flower meadow!
OTL spotted this butterfly flitting about and came to land on the plant, OTL says it looks like a Small White!

He is getting good at spotting butterflies.

A Small White having a rest!
OTL says that he plans to take his Moth Trap with him when we go on holiday so he can see what moths are around the campsite in Scotland.

Who knows, we may find the Wild Haggis Eating Gnasher Moth!

Now, we reckon that getting stabbed is something to make a fuss about, I mean, If you yelp and moan in a pained way you get even more nibbles and cuddles! Archie Babe has just got to get crafty!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Another Soggy Doggy Day!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Well, it's good to see Missy Sue again, not sure what finger alignment and her cranium has to do with a sniff but it's a case of whatever turns you on!

Today we had the leftover rain from yesterday but it didn't come until the afternoon, so, that means Eric gets a chance to have a rampage around the sea shore and the forest!

The Morning Gloom!
When he puts his mind to it, young Eric can look right smart! Especially when he is ferreting around in the grass!

Do I look cute or wot?
Mind you, Miss May has decided that Eric can go for a morning run on his own 'cos she is having trouble waking up in the mornings!

Well, she is getting on a bit now and the Insulinoma makes her tired until after she has had her morning medicine!

Of course, that means Eric tends to spend more time sniffing with Holly and I.

Eric has a problem, he prefers Ferret Sniffs and thinks Woofer Sniffs are 'Rough Around The Edeges'!

We don't mind, let's face it, he is a Ferret!

Why does a Woofer Sniff always sniff of Poo?
Lunchtime it was pouring down, in fact, it was so wet that we had to sit in the car for fifteen minutes until the rain eased a little!

We finally got out of the car but it was still raining but we managed a quick walk around the forest before heading back home again.

OTL took the old caravan mattress down to the rubbish tip and he had to take identification to show he lives in the area!

That all done it was just a case of fill up the fuel tank and get a litre or two of engine oil and we are almost ready for the off!

Holly and I are looking forward to the Chinese Take Away when we get to Gretna, providing of course it is open on a Monday!

If not, then it will be Fish and Chips!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Blue Sky's Again!

Hi Woofers!

We are back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Well, today it has all been better, the rain only came out last night but the blue sky was up in the sky for most of the day!

The grass was wet, we know that 'cos Old Two Legs was moaning about the amount of water that was leaking into his welly!

We reckon that he may buy a new pair when he is away on  holiday!

Walking across the football field Holly was brought to a stop by a voice telling her to watch where she was going!

It took a couple of moments to find out the source!

Oi! Watch where you are sticking your paws!
It was Sid the Streak, our local long distance Marathon Runner!

Sid was out for his morning race around the field before all the other woofers came out for a walk!

You just can't get a good jog in nowadays!
One of the good things was that Holly was out hunting the fox sniffs we missed yesterday. I mean, we can't have us missing the sniff that Old Two Legs managed to find yesterday!

The only problem was, no fox!

Here Foxy!
The sun was out at lunchtime so OTL decided to invite Monty and Wendy to come out with us. Of course, with OTL holding onto there leads didn't have room for the camera but both ferrets enjoyed a walk through the grass and flowers, sniffing the sniffs!

Now the rain is heading north we are expecting some sunny weather, mind you, next week we are heading north, let's hope the rain keeps going further north!

You can tell we are getting close to holiday time, The Missus has had her hair cut and OTL has been looking at his camera gear and trying to decide what gear to take!

Holly and I have been making a list of stuff we want to take away with us, like nibbles and rubber balls and cushions and our rain coats. Well you never know, it may rain!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Wet and Soggy Doggys!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

Well, wot a day!

Last night the weather man was saying that us in the East and Southeast would be getting some rather heavy rain storms today.

He wasn't wrong!

This morning first thing it was raining and it still was raining when we got back home except we were all very wet and soggy!

We tried to convince Old Two Legs that we really ought to be heading home but he didn't listen and there we were, rain drops dripping off the ends of our noses, fighting our way through the bushes and wet grass!

Not the best walk we have ever had!

Lunchtime it was still damp, OTL had discovered that his wellies had holes in the soles and were leaking water and making his feet all wet and soggy!

Holly and I we wet and soggy from this morning and we decided that a quick walk around the forest would be the very best idea!

Come on Girl, get your tail into gear and let's get home!
Mind you, we did sniff a fox or two but OTL wouldn't let us go chasing rabbits or foxes, so it was back home for a snooze before dinner!

But we can sniff the foxes today!
Maybe tomorrow will be better!

Bye for now,

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

It's getting closer!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here again!

Well, what a fun day today!

We were out early this morning, for a change, 'cos Holly woke The Missus up last night when she was warning a Nargle to stay out of our garden.  It was Holly who was doing the warning, not TM!

So, it was early that Old Two Legs got woken up by TM snoring her head off and couldn't get back to sleep, unlike TM!

Being a sunny morning he decided to take Eric out with us.

There were some Daisy Flowers enjoying the early sun shine.

A Pollen Shaker looking for someone who has Hay Fever!
OTL suffers from Hay Fever and it's the grass pollen that gets him started followed by flower pollen and tree pollen, in fact any sort of pollen will do!

While OTL was sneezing his tail off young Eric enjoyed himself by scuttling through the flowers, kicking up the pollen and calling out 'Wot Pollen?'

There his is, causing all this trouble!
As we came out of the forest, Holly and I went on ahead looking for some sniffs to roll in and a rabbit or two to chase.

OTL was hanging behind with Eric who was enjoying all the sniffs.

For some reason OTL felt as though some one was watching him and turned around to look behind.

There, sitting on the path and watching both OTL and Eric sat a young fox.

Tell, me, is that ferret edible?
Now that fox had followed us making sure the sun was behind him. That's a neat trick getting the sun behind you!

For a while we all sat there looking at each other, OTL looking at the fox and the fox looking at Eric and Eric looking at the fox.

Then OTL started to walk slowly towards the fox who continued to look at Eric!

Then the fox got up and made to walk into the bushes but stopped when OTL stopped moving.

Unfortunately the sun was directly in front of OTL so we got some glare on the lens.

Still, you can see the fox!

I'm sure that Ferret would taste nice with a fried egg and a slice of toast!
Then, after a few minutes the fox decided that Eric wasn't worth chasing while OTL was there and disappeared off into the forrest to hunt rabbits!

Lunchtime arrived and we got The Missus to take us out for a walk 'cos OTL was washing the caravan ready for the holiday. You know there were loads of bird poo on the roof of the van that needed the high pressure hose to blast them off!

It was funny that just after he had finished cleaning the van the rain came down and washed the last of the soap off the roof!

F1 Racing tonight!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

We've been Damp Doggies!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret back with you again!

Well, it has been all wet and windy today. The ferrets refused to get up for an early morning walk!

Mind you, if it were not for our need to have a sniff and a poo I think we would have stayed in bed as well!

It was not nice, like too much wet stuff!

We have seen better weather than this!
Mind you, Holly and I had fun chasing a couple of rabbits around in a circle until they disappeared into the bushes!

Well, it wasn't my fault he trod in the puddle!
Lunchtime wasn't any better, you know, as Old Two Legs says.......'It Hissed Down!'

Well, he said something like that!

The wind was blowing and all the trees were bending over. I reckon and more wind and the trees will take off!

Windy or Wot?
OTL spent most of the day playing on the computer doing work type stuff, a bit boring and of no real interest to any of us woofers!

We spent most of the day watching the birds in the garden or woofing at the Two Legs walking past the front of the house!

The Missus has been up the Village Hall today doing the Glue & Glitter thing, Rosie wasn't there so Miss Wendy will have to wait until next week for a cuddle from Rosie!

We have started to pack our stuff ready for our holiday, we have made lists of what we will need, you know, towels to dry us off on the beach, all our squeaky balls and things that can be thrown so we can chase!

OTL has put the new mattress in the caravan and he will have to take the old one down the tip next week.

It's all go you know!

We are off now to watch the F1 Practice and see what OTL has tonight and see if we can mug him for a nibble!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Wet and Windy Day!

Hi Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

Well, what a day of running around!

It started off early with The Missus crashing through the bedroom door demanding Old Two Legs gets up at some ridiculous hour so we can walk Eric de Ferret without woofers chasing him!

Now, we don't mind early but there is early and blooming stupid early!

Well, the sun's up but not by much!
By the time we got around to the hill it had got brighter and Eric was straight into the grass for a sniff and a snuffle!

Now, this is serious ferreting!
Going through the woods is always great fun, loads of sniffs and strange noises that not only could be woofers but foxes and birds and rabbits as well!

Wossat making that noise? I can't see what it is!
Mind you, if you can't see what it is we always hang back and ask OTL, he normally knows!

Alright! I give up wot is it?
Some times OTL is of no use, I mean, when was the last time you saw a Niffler?

This afternoon it was all rain and wind so we didn't hang about too long and anyway OTL had found out that the car was ready for collection.

It cost a fortune, according to OTL and he says he might just sell a couple of dogs and a ferret or two to help him!

Yeah, In your dreams OTL!

After getting the car OTL headed off to Harrietsham to hand over the donation from the Allhallows Croppers after their Craft Thong Weekend when they raised  money towards the vet bills that come in when you are running a Ferret Rescue!

And OTL thinks he is hard done by!

We suspect that OTL has got a Kebab tonight so that means we are going to be doing some serious mugging later!

See you tomorrow and don't forget the F1 Racing this weekend!

Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

No Car Yet!

Hello Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Another fine day down here in North Kent! Mind you, we did have some problems this morning.

There we were, looking forward to a fine old race around the football field while Eric has his morning wee and a sniff. In the distance we see a couple of woofers we have seen before, Doodle Dogs, and no intention of doing what they are told, even I have had to give them the old 'Warning Growl'!

Anyway, off they go and Eric has a run, then he gets up into OTL's arm for a rest and a look around to see what's happening in the world!

On we go, weeing and pooing our way around while Eric decides he wants a run on the ground again!

The only problem is, from behind some bushes comes this Two Legs with the woofers!

That was it, Eric had to be picked up and carried, just in case the Doodles fancied a Ferret Breakfast!

That wasn't so bad but the TL insisted on walking with OTL and talking about getting the Doodles a bath a and hair cut!

Eric was right put out that he missed out on his walk through the forest, mind you after the Doodles left he did get a bit of a run down the hill!

Come on Eric just how many sniffs are there?
It didn't help that Holly had got a sniff of a rabbit and was legging it down the hill and into the bushes!

Look! There's Holly, Gone!
Mind you, Holly didn't stay lost for too long 'cos there were a couple of Greyhounds loose chasing rabbits as well!

Back home, after the cage cleaning, OTL settled down again with the Tax Return Form again and tried to extract the details from the Profit & Loss report from the Accountant TL!

OTL hates Tax Returns and after all the effort he has telephoned the  Accountant to visit tomorrow to explain all the figures!

Mind you, Archie Babes TL has the bucket which is just right for filing all the Returns and just to finish it off you can have a cough and a spit in it as well!

OTL has put the big car in for some repairs before we go away on holiday and this afternoon he was told it won't be ready for collection until tomorrow!

You can bet it will be a big invoice and he will be crying all the way home!

Still, at least it will be all OK for the holiday!

See you tomorrow and we plan to get out earlier tomorrow so we aren't troubled by Doodle Dogs!

Bye bye for now!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Pomeranian Woofer!

Hello Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

We think it was a great idea of Archie Babe to have a digging contest to the rhythm of some sea sounds!

To be honest, if Old Two Legs got one of those we would be up all night for a wee!

We have the sea close enough to us not to need a wave gizmo!

We took Eric with us this morning and just for a change, he decided that a cuddle in OTLs arm was better than walking in the wet grass where it had rained last night!

After a while the need for a wee gets Eric down on the ground and sniffing and he even found a ball, well, half a ball!

Oi! Come back and see what I found!
We got back to the car park and bumped into this woofer that Holly says is a Mini Husky!

Well, she got that wrong cos this ball of fluff announced that it's breed is called a Pomeranian!

Pomeranian? Holly says, I thought that was a sort of orange!

I'm a Pomeranian, not a juicy fruit!
Let's face it, that coat must take some brushing, I mean, you would be all day brushing it!

Yeah! You wanna see it after I've rolled into a wet and soggy sniff!
OK, all very well but we just don't do brushing, we prefer a good roll!

Lunchtime Monty and Wendy decided they would stay in bed and have a cuddle instead of charging about!

Mind you, they may have made the right decision cos when we got to the car park it was almost full!

Seems there will be a sort of fly past by twenty seven vintage Dakota aeroplanes on their way to the south coast and the D-Day celebrations!

We missed that cos OTL had to go out!

So, what did we see?

Well, no planes here!
As we got into the forest there were two wild rose bushes, so, of course OTL just had to take a shot!

Now, doesn't look pretty?
There was another that looked white with a little yellow around the edges and of course, right in the middle!

Well, no planes in here either!
So, that's it for today, no planes just an afternoon of work!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!
