Lazy, Lazy Day!

 Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, it's been another of those super lazy Sunday's. In the early hours of the morning Old Two Legs jumped up in bed and bouncedacross the bed kicking Holly and I out of bed and elbowing The Missus in the ear.

He was having a bad dream about an Australian Brown Snake jumping out of a swimming pool and trying to bite him!

OTL does have some really weird dreams sometimes but normally hejumps or falls out of bed on his own side and does some injury to himself!

We were a little late getting up 'cos we had to check under the bed for snakes!

Eric came out with us for the morning walk while Wendy stayed in bed snoozing her tail off!

Lunchtime it was just Holly and I plus OTL down on the sea front and for a change the weather was rather mild.

Two Trees but the Poo Bin is missing!

I didn't get to go for a swim but I managed to woof at a dopy dog who I thought was short but ended up being tall and scarry, I had to rush of around the paths just to get away from him!

That was a close shave, that woofer turned out to be much bigger than me!

By the time we got home The Missus had managed to get her video working and up loaded it to YooToob and there were no SlooooooMowwwwww bits!

So, now we have a happy TM

I'm off for a snooze now while OTL cleans up his desk and makes it all shiny!

Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Saturday or Soggy Day?

 Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

We love Saturdays, no sitting around while Old Two Legs chats to customers we get to have an extra helping of chicken strips and The Missus seems happy messing about on her computer doing loads of stuff she likes doing.

Today, however, we have had what is known in the trade as a 'Cock Up'!

We get locked up in the office with OTL while TM makes her video, but, when she gets very near to the end of the sloshing and pasting and gluie bits, she makes a cock up which sends her screaming and howling around the house!

So, making sure we are still trapped in the office she starts again but this time on the play back, there she is gassing away when suddenly the audio goes into 'Slowwwww Mowwwwww' and it sounds just like her batteries have failed!

You should hear her!

We managed to get out while she takes another slug of gin and we leave her to try to sort it all out while we escape to the beach!

Down on the sea front there was a load of foggy stuff on the horizon, but, no rain!

It's difficult telling the sea from the sky!

On the beach there were Mini Two Legs running up and down the beach and a couple splashing about in the water, well, I just couldn't resist, off I went like a woofer on wheels and straight into the water!

I didn't swim out very far 'cos there was another wofer walking up and down the beach and all he wanted was to sniff my butt!

Fat chance!

Any closer and your 'Cat Meat'!

Looking the other way, up stream, the clouds were all broken and the blue sky was poking through, in fact the clouds looked rather impressive!

Those clouds look almost 'Dramatic'!
I tried to get dry by sitting on the bench but I was still soggy all over and it was only when I got home that I got a rub down!

I wouldn't mind but the water keeps running down under my tail!

Back home things were not going TM's way and the video had been put aside (thrown into the corner) and some deep cleaning of cookies and old files and stuff like that. Tomorrow is another day and maybe the rest will let the computer cool down so we don't go into 'Slowwwwww Mowwwwww'!

See you tomorrow.

Here comes the weekend!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

I just love Fridays, I mean, after a whole week of working hard guarding the house at night then go into 'Stealth Mode' during the day light hours. You know it's very tiring keeping awake and in a heightened state while at the same time making it look like you are fast asleep!

You Two Legs just don't know how lucky you are to have us woofer guarding you all!

Today has been pleasant weather wise, a very light rain shower and a breeze blowing in from the South. Walking along the sea wall we picked up on some old sniffs but surprisingly the was nothing really new, just some old sniffs from last weekend!

                      Nope, nothing new here!

The sea almost looked inviting but as it was just coming there was a lot of mud being stired up, so bang goes my chance of a splosh!

Only one other woofer was seen but it was big and ugly and far away! So, with nothing more than a small grumble from me we had a trouble free walk!

Nobody messes with us when were out for a walk! Mind you, I don't go looking for trouble!

We had a very enjoyable rest on the bench and I demonstrated my 'Snooze Awake' pose while working on my 'Stealth Mode'!

Now, tomorrow is Saturday so that means we can relax a bit and leave the Stealth thing to The Missus who is very good at listening out for trouble, well, she has been seen chasing Eric and asking 'What Trouble are You Getting Into?'

You know only Holly has better hearing and OTL sometimes calls her 'Ole Radar Ears'! Mind you her ears work best when there is a bag of Chicken Strips being opened!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Sometimes it just has to be done!

 Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

What a day, I mean, there in the West there was clouds, wind and rain while here in the East what did we get? Sunshine!

It was just one of those days when as soon as you went out the front door you knew it was going to be fun!

It all happened at lunchtime, there we were wandering along the middle path when I got the need for a poo and being a shy little girl I headed off to the long grass. Old Two Legs was close behind and stood ready with the poo bag to scoop up my doings.

While he was busy I decided to have a fast run along the path and off I went like a streak of light. I was well ahead of OTL and just as I came to path that lead down to the sea I got this terrible urge to turn left and see if the tide was in, it was!

Tide conditions were 'Muddy' and wet!

Well, what is a woofer going to do?

Cool man, just so cool!

Of course after a splosh about in the water what are you going to do? Yep! Roll on the sand to get dry, except that the bit of sand I chose was still damp from the waves lapping onto the beach!

Exfoliate!

OTL called me a Mucky, Soggy Doggy and walked off leaving me! Mind you, that didn't worry me 'cos I knew my way back to the car park and any way I knew he would stop at the bench for a rest!

Can you pick the sandy bits off my nose please?

It was good stretching out on the bench and slowly roasting in the sunshine, mind you, I did leave a big wet patch there after jumping down!

By the time we got home I was still damp all over but OTL got the doggy towel and I was rubbed down all over and was soon dry enough to head off to bed under the office desk!

See you tomorrow!

A Wet and Windy day!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret back again.

Well, here we are, the sunshine has gone and back comes the rain. We were out first thing this morning and there were drops of rain splashing down on our noses as we roamed around the old golf course. The golf course is only a nine hole, so it's not very big but it houses a family of foxes.

We made it back home before the rain came down and off went OTL to start cleaning the ferret cage. It was later that Holly and I fancied another run around the golf course so we worried Old Two Legs to go out. As soon as we opened the front door we realised that we had made a mistake, it was pouring down!

We got a few steps into the Football field before deciding that like Archie Babe, we don't like wet! It seems that neither does OTL and we all headed for home at a fast trot!

Soggy and damp we got a rub down when we got home and as soon as we had settled down OTL put on some dry clotes and headed off to the town to spend some money!

He purchased some stuff to do with motoring and the caravan, a torque wrench and a tyre pressure gauge to check if the tyres are inflated to the correct pressure.

Sounds all very technical!

When he got back home the rain had stopped, so, off we go again and this time we were off to the Sea Wall for a midday walk!

Just look at those clouds!

One of the bad things about rain is, it washes all the sniffs away! It takes a skilled woofer to find even a whiff of a sniff!

Now, I'm not bragging but it was me that had to show Holly where to find the sniffs today but it was really my superior nose that did it all!

Come on Holly Chops, here's another one here!

Back home again for lunch and a snooze under OTL's desk!

The Missus got an anniversary card from Archie Babes two legs with cute little woofer who's wagging tail is almost too much!

Eric was playing with OTL by jumping up and hanging onto his trouser leg. As they were in the bathroom, OTL put some water into a plastic tray together with three ping pong balls, then, just for fun, OTL picked Eric up and put him in the tray as well!

Now, if you thing it's Archie Babe who hates water haven't seen what happens when a ferret is plonked into water!

Eric jumped up, legs in the air then fell back into the water, he was slipping and sliding all over the place. He crashed out of the shower and headed towards TM's card room, soaking wet on his legs and tummy!

OTL grabbed a towel then grabbed Eric to dry him down but Eric instead turned his head and sunk his teeth into OTL's hand!

Of course Eric let go as soon as he realised what he had done and OTL wrapped him in the towel to dry him off.

However, OTL's hand was bleeding but we all reckon it was his own fault and he won't do that again!

See you all tomorrow!

A fine day for caravan servicing!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, today is the day the caravan man cometh armed with spanners and pots of grease and the instruction manual!

We had an early walk this morning and Eric decided to tag along. We went over the old golf course and Eric was alternating between getting carried by Old Two Legs and chasing Holly and I through the long grass! He was well full of it today and we guess he spent most of the time running and sniffing!

Just after OTL finished the cage cleaning the caravan man arrived and set about servicing all the broken bits that The Missus had mucked up during the last year and a bit!

OTL got involved with some of the technical bits especially as the loo wouldn't flush! In the end it went gurgle, gurgle, slurp and then worked!

Lunchtime we left the man and headed off to the carriers and then we stopped at Grain for a run. I didn't get to go for a swim cos OTL told me to walk next to him and not go running down to the beach!

Mind you, the beach did look inviting!

Just look at that! I mean, who just wouldn't fancy a dip in there!

So it was that later on, all the servicing done, OTL emptied his purse and paid the man. OTL cried all the way back to the office!

Now, today is a special day 'cos it is OTL and TM's wedding aniversary, you know they have been married for thirty three years!

To celebrate,  we are getting a Chinese Takeaway and going to finish off the last bottle of Bollinger!

Us woofers get our own helping of Plawn Clackers and the dog food man has been and left us with extra helpings of salmon dinners!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

Today it's Bug Hunting Day!

Hello Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

It's been all go today. First thing this morning Old Two Legs was up and washing behind his ears, getting dressed and out for our first wander around the field, only, today we went even further over into the old golf course and chased a couple of cats into the bushes!

Old Two Legs started on the caravan and was washing and sploshing all over, starting with the satalite dish. The last trip out the dish wouldn't lock onto to the satelite so when he got home he had to mess about with the controller before it worked. Having done all that, today when he wanted to wash the dish he pressed the 'up button' and waited for the thing to work, only it didn't!

OTL has a job to do before we go away!

When it came to lunchtime Holly and I got all excited and were jumping up and down but OTL couldn't see us cos he was up a ladder while we were in doors!

Today it was The Missus turn to take us out and instead of going off to the Sea Wall in the small car, she took us around the football field! Now that's just not on, I mean, a girl can't have enough time for a poo before we were heading back home!

As we passed OTL, who was washing the front window of the caravan, we asked if he would take us out when he had finished the van, he said yes!

Finally, he had finished and we were off to to Grain, in the rain!

It was bucketing down, great waves of water racing up the road, then suddenly there we were out the other end!

Once we got to Grain the storm had passed and we were dry!

There is goes heading off into Essex!

We met up with a soppy spaniel who reckons he was bug hunting! Holly thought he was loosing his marbles but he was so enthusiastic and insisted that he had caught a bug on his nose!

We couldn't see what he was talking about, I mean, a woofer with a bug on his nose?

Come on, can't you see it?

It was then that he got closer to OTL, turned his nose to one side and said.............

See it now?
Holly and I went off looking for bugs to balance on our noses but they had all been chased away by that Rolly Polly Spaniel!

Well, I can't find anything except these ants wot get up your nose!

Back home we got banned to the office while The Missus was making another one of her videos!

It is a shame that Archie Babes TL has still got a tooth ache, I mean, she had the offending tooth pulled didn't she, maybe the dentist left a bit in her jaw and only an xray would find it!

Claws crossed she gets it sorted soon cos there is nothing so horrible as a tooth ache!

See you tomorrow!

A Mixed up Sunday!

 Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here.

Well, today we had some serious plans to get so much done. First of all, get up early and get the ferret cages cleaned and polished nice and early so we could all go out early at lunchtime.

So, we woke up early then went back to sleep and didn't get up until about three quarters of an hour later than normal!

Miss Wendy came out with us on our morning stroll where we met up with our neighbour  who insisted on a much longer chat than normal which left Holly and I sitting on our tails waiting for Old Two Legs and Wendy to finish gassing!

Back home we tried to catch up but the ferrets had been partying last night and there was mess everywhere!

So, by now we were running very late. Lunchtime we headed off to the Sea Wall with Eric in tow who said he was in need of a carry 'cos he was just too tired to run along the Sea Wall.

Just as we got there, we met up with a couple of Two Legs who had a sheet spread out on the floor, a couple of bottles of lager, a camera on a tripod and a guitar!

Holly and I soon found out that the food had all gone, so we headed off down the coast while Eric decided to have a cuddle with his new found friend!

It wasn't too long before Eric discovered that there were no Chicken Strips or Ferret Nibbles and a cuddle get's a bit boring if there is no chance of a nibble!

It wasn't long before we arrived at the beach and there, sitting on the edge of the Sea Wall was a crab, it was enormous and we reckon that if he puts his mind to it, that crab could have chomped Eric's paw off!

Now we know that OTL is both big and brave but he went up to the crab and with his size eleven boots, he prodded the crab only to find it was dead!

It may have been dead but even so, we stayed well away from those claws!

Back home OTL decided to get everything ready for cleaning the caravan, you know, sponge, caravan cleaner, bucket and pressure hose plus the ladder to get OTL up onto the roof!

Just as we were finishing lunch the F1 Racing started, so OTL said he would watch the racing and afterwards wash the van, that was OK until the rain started, so, we decided to wash the caravan tomorrow, providing we wake up on time!

Organised or wot?

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Down Comes the Rain!

 Hi Woofers,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Wot a change from yesterday!

This morning was all muggy and foggy, both ferrets decided to have a snooze instead of coming out for a walk. Not that it worried Holly or I 'cos that means we could have a run around the football field instead of hanging around waiting for ferrets!

Lunchtime it was the same except that the sky looked rather dark and heavy with rain. Old Two Legs looked on the Internetty Thingy and looked at the Rain Radar page which showed a big wet storm heading our way but if we headed over to Grain Sea Front we would bypass the rain!

OTL is good at finding 'Windows' in the weather. So, off we went, through the edge of the storm, through big puddles in the road and then onto dry roads! By the time we got to the car park it was bone dry the rain cloud was heading off towards London!

We got chased by a big leggy Doddle Dog who wanted to play but was scared stiff of OTL. He came bounding up to Holly stopped, stuck her nose in the air and said that if he got any closed she would get OTL to 'Talk To Him'!

See him over there? He eats woofer tails!

That's it, off he ran with his tail between his legs!

We headed on down to the Sea Wall and once again there were only a few Two Legs wandering about, maybe it was the rain clouds that sent them back to their cars!

The two rigs over in Sheerness were still being worked on. Earlier today OTL looked at the Maritime Traffic program and noticed that only one rig was shown to be there but when we arrived there were the two. So, it looks like the GPS had been turned off for maintenance!

OK, who turned the power off?

We didn't meet up with any other woofers on our walk, maybe they were all scared of the rain!

Heading back home there were puddles all across the roads that were not there when we came through earlier today!

We all fell asleep watching the F1 Qualifying mainly cos the satellite signal got stuck in the clouds!

By the time we all woke up, it had all finished and The Missus threw us out cos she wanted to make another video and didn't want woofers woofing at the neighbours!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Two Booms and It's all over!

 Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, I'm not really impressed with the weather man, he was forecasting doom, gloom, thunder and lightening and what did we get? A couple of booms and a flash of lightening we could barely see! Holly was all ready for some serious shaking and shivering and I'm afraid she was getting wound up over nothing really!

Overnight it was just hot and to be honest, we were so tired we went to bed early and didn't wake up until the morning!

Eric came out with us this morning and it was noticeable cooler but still warm.

The best thing we could do was to enjoy the cooler air and go back to bed for a snooze.

Lunchtime we left the ferrets in bed and headed off to the sea wall and for the first time in ages, on a work day, there was no one to be seen!

Look Left!

Not a Two Legs to be seen!

Look Right!

When we got to the beach there was no one there either!

Nope! Nuffin here either Sis!

Do you think everyone has gone on holiday or are they all off to school to collect their 'A' Level results?

Even on our walk through the woods there were no TL's or woofers and come to think about it, there were no birds either! It was almost a pleasure to see some TL's when we got to the car park, we were begining to think the world had gone and no one had told us about it!

Now yesterday it was 28 degrees but today, looking at the temperature gauge, it was just 22 degrees. Now 22 degrees is OK for us, not too hot and not too cold, in fact it is what you could describe a 'comfortable'!

Well, comfortable as some localised earthquakes go. I mean, we only get earthquakes when Holly Chops gets an attack of the Windy Tums but we are getting used to them now!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
