It's TM's Birthday!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here.

You know, every year we have to make up a super singing song full of birthday wishes!

Now, what can rhyme suitably with Missus or TM and still include sniffs and stuff?

Let's see.

Happy Birthday to you,

Here's a bucket of poo/glue

Slosh it around your workshop

and slip on the poo/glue!

Eric and Wendy said they had been working on a Happy Birthday song as well!

Happy Birthday to 'Her'

Got some Grey in her hair.

and a butt to spare!

Happy Birthday to Her!

We then looked at Old Two Legs and waited for his effort!

Happy Birthday to The Boss

although her hair is mainly moss.

She's a Dragon of a Monster.......

and that's when the fight started!

It was a good job that he brought her a present she wanted!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

It's Eric's Turn Again!

Hello Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret again!

Today has been a bit of a repeat of yesterday! A bit chilly this morning first thing but it gets better as we get closer to our midday walk on the sea front.

Mind you, both Holly and I had a good roll in the sand and whatever sniff we could find!

Eric who had come with us again, didn't bother with hole digging and left us to find all the sea weedy sniffs!

Come on, there's more sniffs along the beach!

Eric had fun running up and down the concrete steps and poking his head above the sea wall and calling out 'BOO!' to Old Two Legs!

 'BOO!'

Walking down towards the car park we spotted our first butterfly racing between trees covered with blossom.

Our first Peacock Butterfly this year!

Eric reckons it could be a good year for all sorts of bugs!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Eric's Day Out.

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

It's been another warm and sunny day today, well, after the morning chill had worn off!

We did notice the chill a little more today 'cos we got washed, sploshed and shaved to our skins!

I mean, Spring has only just begun and it's still chilly in the morning and we get shaved!

By the time lunch time had arrived, I managed to let Old Two Legs know it was walkies time and young Eric was still crashing about his cage, keeping Wendy awake.

So, to help her get off to sleep and to get Eric worn out we packed him up in the traveling cage and then into the back of the car, next stop, the beach!

I'd rather have a carry in the bag!

It took a while for Eric to get in the mood but finally he was running along the beach. He declined to have a dig because the sand was a little cold and wet but he did run along the base of the sea wall and up the stairs towards the hill and onto the forest.

We met up with some woofers we know and after a stroke from OTL they left us alone to sniff and Eric to enjoy the violets!

These plants always start OTL's hay fever going!

We took the big car 'cos OTL says it needed a run to charge the battery. If it were me, I would have just connected up the battery charger!

Whatever turns you on!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Just for Archie Babe!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here again!

Now then, we have noticed that Archie Babe wants to see more pictures of us face on instead of us waving our tails at him!

He is soooo demanding!

So, just for our Archie Babe, a selection of photos!

  With a Sniff Sniff here...............

  and a Sniff Sniff there..........

here a Sniff, there a Sniff.........

  Every where a Sniff Sniff!

  Not a Butt in sight!

There you go, just for Archie Babe!

See you tomorrow Sniffers!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

A First for Eric this year!

 Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

You know sometimes you wake up first thing in the morning and there is something nagging at the back of your head, a sort of premonition of things to come?

Well, I had that this morning and I just couldn’t put my claw on it.

Our morning walk went off without a hitch, it was warmer than yesterday and no wind. Mind you, we didn't see any foxes but that's no trouble 'cos you need to be up really early to catch them!

At half ten, after Old Two Legs had cleaned the cages and had his breakfast, I decided it was time for our lunchtime walk. It took a bit of persuading to get OTL to stop what he was playing about with and into his coat. It was then that Eric fell out of his bed and started to rattle the cage door. A good sign he was wide awake and looking for an adventure!

Just for a change, The Missus said she would come along as well!

So, off we went Eric, TM, Holly, OTL and me!

Eric hasn't been out for some time, what with this Covid, which ferrets can catch!

So, to begin with Eric wanted to hide in the ferret bag but he also wanted to see what was happening out there!

What happens if the Covid chases me?

After a slow start he got the message and was sniffing and searching like a ferret should!

 OK, it's sniffin time!

He even chased after me on our way back to the car!

Outta my way woofer!

Now, around this time of year we can expect the ferrets to start moulting but Eric hasn't started so he looks a real star in his winter coat!

It won't be long before he starts dropping hair all over the place but at the moment, a star!

So, now he has been out I can see there will be more times when there will be four of us out walking!

Bye for now!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
