Getting More Info!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

Old Two Legs didn't come home last night and we think he may have been getting into trouble!

This morning The Missus had to take us for our walk down by the sea shore and once again we showed her which way to go!

We have had a lazy day here and I have been spending time looking out of the window just to see if OTL is turning into our road but so far, no OTL!

It was later this afternoon, after our midday walk, that we got some photos sent to out email box.

Now, what do you make out of these?

Can I Bite them?
This one looked like it was going to start some trouble!

I see Food!
Looks like Alun has got himself a prize, second but there is always next year!

Well done Alun, now, where is OTL?
We have not heard anything about OTL so we reckon he is managing to stay out of trouble!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

He's Left Us!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

Well, it's been a bit of a strange day today. Like, we went out first thing this morning but couldn't see a thing! Just loads of sniffs and it was Holly who pointed out that there was nothing but thick mist all over the place!

Old Two Legs left the camera in the car 'cos what is the point of photographing mist?

Back home The Missus had packed up all her glue slapping stuff and was heading out to the village hall for a day mayhem!

OTL did all the cage cleaning and ferret chasing and by the time they were put back into the cages they were almost worn out!

Lunchtime came and it was still thick mist everywhere but this time OTL took the camera out of the bag and went on the hunt for Proof of Spring!

First of all he found some Hawthorn Blossom that had just burst over the last day or so.

In a couple of days it will be a tree full of blossom!
We suggested that OTL use the 'Close Up' lens to photograph the blossom and he saud maybe next week!

You will have to put up with the 28-300 lens today!
There was also the Gorse that was in flower but that seems to always be in blossom!

We've seen this before!
After the lunchtime walk TM came home and took us up the hall but OTL stayed at home?

Strange, but when we got back he was gone!

Most odd and Holly was wondering what has happened but while I was typing this up, I found a file that we were unsure what it was all about.

It was from Alun to OTL saying that he had found a 'Bird' that will 'Do just great'

We have decided to wait until he gets back before showing this to TM!

Hello Tweety Pie!
No, we are not sure either, however, when OTL and Alun get together anything can happen!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Happy Birthday Missy Sue!

Hi Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret, Monty de Ferret again!

OK, here we go, after 600,           1...........19.............600!

Happy Birthday to Sue
Cake and Candles for yoo
Chocs and flowers from Michael
And big licks from us tooooooooo!

There, we can do a song without a poo! Mind you, it was difficult!

The morning walk was dark this morning and the sun was playing games with Old Two Legs, first it stuck its head up then it went back to bed again!

Look! The Sun!
OTL got fed up waiting for the sun and turned his attention to the moon and clicked off this one.

It would look better if the camera was mounted on a tripod!
Then, as we turned around, the sky changed again!

Pretty but the sun has gone again!
While we were watching it changed again and there, under the cloud, we could see the sun climbing over the horizon!

Finally the Sun put in an appearance!
Back home Holly and retired to the bed for a well earned snooze while OTL cleaned cages and ferrets ran amok around the house.

May slurped her medicine then headed off for the sofa to find a cosy corner for a snooze!

It got to lunchtime and OTL rattled the cage to see if Wendy and Monty wanted to come out for a walk.

As we were crossing the Football Field I found a tennis ball!

So, with OTL kicking it and me chasing we had a fun five minutes!
I got it! I Got It!..........I missed it!
I played my normal trick of grabbing the ball and running away, good fun and it made OTL walk half way down the field!

I'll get it this time.......I'll Get It This Time!......................Missed Again!
There was Mr Corvid having a lunch break and he asked to join in but OTL said that Holly might be a bit rough when she tackles!

Yes, I see what you mean, she is a bit lumpy around the butt!
Monty and Wendy enjoyed a run and even raced OTL across the football field!

Back home it took just five minutes for them to have a spot of lunch, a drink and search out somewhere soft to sleep!

Doggy Scoff today, unlike Missy Sue who is being treated to steak and chips at the best restaraunt in town!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret, Monty de Ferret!

Sunny, Sunny Day!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

Hasn't it been a super day today? It was just a little chilly first thing but later on the sun came out and everything warmed up!

Suns up but it's chilly!
This morning we didn't see any woofers or Two Legs so just for a change, we had it all to ourselves!

Mind you, the lunchtime walk was just too crowded!

Just because it is half term time there were loads of Grandpa's and Grandma's out with mini TL's who would rather be back home on the PlayStation!

I wonder if we'll meet anyone today?
We had brought Eric with us today and to begin with he didn't want to walk, all he wanted to do was sit in the ferret bag and look out over the top of the bag!

Even when a couple of Hairy Schnauzers came bounding along he stayed in the bag!

Holly and I had a sniff but we didn't hang about too long 'cos there were loads of TL's and woofers around and we had to keep an eye open for Eric's sake!

Can you eat ferrets?
Eric was quite happy to just sit on the grass and enjoy the sunshine and the warmth but when we spotted Bert coming down the path he decided to get back to the bag for a little rest!

Now, I could do this all day if the woofers weren't around!
We met up with Bert, he's the one that has fallen in love with Holly! As normal, she played the Tart and had him running around in circles!

Poor Bert, but he did get a kiss!
Before getting into the car I played my normal game, that's where I sit on the grass looking every where except where Old Two Legs is jumping up and down and calling me!

No, I won't look at you or even let on you are in front of me!
It's a super game and I win every time!

With a bit of luck it will be getting warmer as the weekend gets closer and if it is warm enough we will get Miss May out for another run across the football field!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Home Alone!

Hello Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Yesterday Miss May came out with us and had a great time sniffing and rolling in sniffs and running all over the place. Well, today she paid for it! When Old Two Legs went to wake Eric and May in time for some breakfast and Mays medicine, she just couldn't wake up!

In fact she just stayed rolled up in her sleeping bag and carried on snoozing!

There was a time when OTL thought she wasn't feeling very well but in the end she woke up and after a bit of breakfast and slurping down her medicine, she was off like she had her tail on fire!

The moon was out this morning and it was a full moon. We were just a little late and so was the sun!

Just peeking through the branches!
Looking across the estuary we could see the light beginning but that was it, no sun, until we got half way home!

Well, yellow makes a change!
And yellow it was, OTL managed to take a couple of shots at the moon which was yellow looking, I suppose you could call it a 'Harvest Mood' except that it's not Harvest Time!

Well, it makes a change from the bright silver thing we normally see!
By the time we were heading back to the car the moon had gone down over the horizon so that's all we are going to see today, maybe tomorrow it will be a Blue Moon!

It was around nine thirty that OTL took us for a walk around the football field at the back the house.

Now this was not normal, we just don't do wandering around the football field at that time in the morning!

As soon as we were back both OTL and The Missus headed of in the big car and left us all alone until half way through the after noon!

Not fair!

They are back now and all is OK but us woofers don't like being left on our own!

With a bit of luck Wendy and Monty will be out for a run tomorrow, providing it's not raining!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Miss May's Outing!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Today The Missus headed off with Old Two Legs for her appointment with the Eyeball Specialist for the next stage of treatment.

It seems that one eyeball is OK and no more treatment is needed but the other one is still bruised from the operation and needs some TLC, so, more drops to put in her eye, six times a day. Well, there is one that requires one drop four times a day and another that requires one drop twice a day, but not at the same time!

We reckon that it will take another four weeks before going back to the specialist to be checked over again.

A real pain in the eye but it's better than having needles stuck in your eyeball and fluid drained off!

Before all that, we had a wander along the sea shore just before the sun came up but it was hardly worth the trip, a dark pink sky then in comes the cloud and Poof!

It was gone!

In comes the cloud and it was all gone, just like that, mind you Sarn should like this one!
It was later that OTL and TM came home from the hospital and we were rather late in going out for our lunchtime walk.

Yesterday Eric came out with us and today it should have been Monty and Wendy who were walking but they were both asleep, mind you, so was Eric but Miss May was up and bouncing all over the cage.

OTL made a Management Decision and Miss May was dressed up in her harness. It was a rather Loose Fitting 'cos she has lost weight since coming down with Insulinoma but she is responding well to the medication, so, Eric was woken up and dressed as well and off we went.

Miss May hasn't been out for absolutely ages, I think it was September last year was her last run out.

Today she sat on OTL's hand and looked out of the bag, then wriggled to be put down on the grass!

She had a little run, then climbed up OTL's leg for a little carry, then wriggled to be put down again and then ran off towards the sea shore!

Just a little carry, for a moment or two!
Half way across the field she was down and running, then rolling on the grass like wot Holly and I do if there's a sniff there.

You know OTL didn't stop her at all, not like when we do it!

Now, remember yesterday and the Heeland Coo like sniff? Well OTL wouldn't let Holly and I off the lead until we got across the field and well down the path. So, you can just picture it, two woofers on a lead pulling one way, a little ferret pulling another way and a big ferret butt up trying to get back in the bag!

Surprisingly Miss May was having a great time sniffing the sniffs and rolling on the ground, rolling onto her back and kicking her paws in the air!

OTL knew the wouldn't have enough hands and so he had left the camera at home but remembered to bring the phone, so we rattled off a couple of shots.

A good picture of OTL's Wellie and Miss May sniffing a sniff!
Tomorrow Monty and Wendy have been promised a run out, providing it's not pouring down with rain, not even a ferret likes to walk in the rain!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

It was almost worth it!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret back again!

Wot a super Sunday this has been!

It all started last night around midnight, Holly had a grumbly tum and had to call Old Two Legs out of bed to allow her into the garden for a quick poo followed by a warm butt wash!

OTL doesn't mind doing that for us, well, that's what he says!

So, after the midnight fun we managed to wake up a whole ten minutes late!

Down on the sea front the sun had not climbed out of bed yet so we got what OTL calls 'The Pre-Glow', that is the light before the sun gets up but after the night has gone to bed!

Now it's getting ready after this Pre-Glow!
Trouble is, just when you think your going to get a monster of a sunrise, the sun goes back to bed for a snooze!

It's Gone!
That was it, the sunrise was meant for someone else today!

Lunchtime OTL woke Eric up 'cos he had promised Eric a run down on the sea shore.

At first Eric was a little slow to get going 'cos there were the Weekend Woofers who are a dangerous as far as ferrets are concerned!

I'm sure I heard a woofer down there!
There were times when he walked by OTL's side and after he sat on OTL's shoulder looking behind to make sure there were no woofers coming!

OK ferret, I'm watching you!
Today it was warm and the tide was in and, well, I just couldn't stop myself!

First paddle of the year!
OTL was not happy with me!

To help OTL get over it I suggested he takes a picture of Eric using the 'Pets' setting on the camera!

So, Eric put on his best 'Ferret' look and 'Click'!

Do I look good in this?
Crossing the football field Holly stopped for a sniff and Eric crept up on Holly.

Trouble was, Eric made too much noise and Holly warned him again!

Watch it Ferret Chops!
While OTL was taking Eric back to the car, Holly found this enormous pile of poo that must have been done by a Heeland Coo, I mean, it was Super Yuck!

Holly couldn't contain her delight and of course she just had to have a roll.

Unfortunately that meant that when we got home, Holly had to have a shower to get all the poo out and the harness went straight into the washing machine!

OTL has one of those 'Blaster' things that blow all the water out of our coats and this time OTL shut Holly in the office and set about drying Holly.

Holly got backed into a corner by OTL who set about blasting the damp out of Holly's coat.

Now, normally this happens down stairs but today Holly had an observer peering out of a cage, yes, it was Miss May, sitting on her hammock watching Holly getting blasted from all directions!

What was worse was May laughing and telling OTL to 'Give it some Wellie' !

Holly was not happy but May just kept laughing her tail off and calling out things like, go on, up her tail!

After it was all done Holly headed back downstairs and OTL called me upstairs.

I had this terrible premonition that I was about to get wet.

I was right, washed and then blow dried and May singing out, go on, go on, go on!

Now Holly and I are both clean, dry and all fluffy, until tomorrow when we can go for another walk across the football field and who knows, we may come across the Coo Poo again!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Hello Rosie Chops!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

We love Saturdays, we get time to have fun and not worry about the day job. We leave all the guarding to The Missus and get time to relax and put our paws up after a long week!

Archie Babe knows all about valuing time off!

We got up at the normal time 'cos we didn't want to waste any part of Saturday and lucky for us it was just before the sun got up.

There were clouds low down on the horizon so we didn't get to see the sun, however, Old Two Legs did his best!

How about one and a half trees?
As I said, there was no sign of the sun but we did get to see the valour trails from the planes heading off to far off places!

Err! Which way to Moscow?
We got to the top of the hill and managed a moody shot that includes the sky, dawn and the incoming tide!
The tide ripple looks good?
After all that excitement we headed for home cos there was a big bowl of chicken waiting for us!

OK, that's it for another day!
TM has been up the village hall today on the monthly crop where they make such a mess with the glue and glitter!

We got a message that Rosie would be up there so both Monty and Wendy came out with us for a walk at lunchtime.

We were going to take Eric but he was fast asleep and didn't wake up until we were heading out of the front door!

We'll give him a walk tomorrow, he can get some fresh air and enjoy hunting out sniffs!

Monty getting the midday sniff!
Once they have go used to the grass both Monty and Wendy just love walking along the top path and across the football field!

After the walk we dropped into the village hall to say hello and get a cuddle from Rosie.

Wendy got introduced to all the girls there and got stroked by most of them.

The others had inky fingers!

Back home we decided to have a rest on the sofa while OTL had a snooze with his paws up!

TM has just got in so we are off to give her a big 'Woofer Welcome' and of course if we are lucky, a treat!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret

OTL gets a Head Ache!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Well, today we have been good girls 'cos Old Two Legs has been trying to understand some notifications from the Her Majesty Revenue & Customs!

It's all to do with exporting to the EU and any other country if we leave the EU without a deal!

Now, at the moment we can send stuff to the EU, remove the VAT from the invoice and send off the goods. However, after the due date we will have to do some serious form filling!

Now that's no problem, providing you know where to down load the forms and where you need to send them and after that manage to translate the instructions from HMRC!

I mean it involves EORI, NES, TSP and a dozen other governmental departments who want to have their say and require to be notified of wot you are sending and other stuff.

OTL has got a head ache and he still is confused!

Maybe that's why we were late in getting up but it was worth it 'cos we got some good sun rise pictures.

First was that tree again and today it don't look too bad!

....and today we get both trees and all of them!
Just around the corner the sun was just crawling over the horizon, looks rather good!

This one looks better on a big screen!
Of course, it didn't take long for the sun to get up and just before we got blasted with sun shine OTL took this, smooth ain't it!

All we need is a four mast yacht with full set of sails crossing the horizon!
There was plenty of frost and of course he had to have a shot at photographing the leaves, however, I prefer the sunrise!

Frosty or wot?
Lunchtime it was much warmer but the mist was still hanging about, especially across the estuary, in fact we couldn't see Southend just the occasional passing ship.

Not even a sniff of Kebab on the breeze!
Today OTL decided to take the ferrets out for a walk. The temperature was warm enough and it was just a case of deciding who would be coming.

Eric and May were fast asleep and even when OTL blew into their cuddle cup, neither of the woke up, so it was Wendy and Monty who get a run out in the sun shine!

Miss Wendy had a run but kept on wanting to get back into the ferret bag for a carry but Monty  managed to walk most of the way around!

It was good to see them run across the football field, sniffing for moles!

Is mole hunting obligatory?
Tomorrow, OTL says that we may bring Eric out for a run and Wendy says that we may also see young Rosie up at the village hall where there is a glue glitter slapping contest!

I think I will stay away from that thank you!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Back to normal!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret again!

Well, here we are, getting up late, again!

But it made a change to see the sky and let Old Two Legs mess about with the camera and his favourite lens, Nikon 28-300 f3.5 with VR (anti wobble)!

It was a good job there was the anti wobble 'cos this morning was cold, frosty cold and it even made us shiver!

Careful, you might get a Frost Bitten Nose!
We spotted a crow up in the tree top waiting for his mate to join him for breakfast!

'Morning Woofers!
There's a tree we pass that OTL keeps looking at 'cos he says that when the light is right and hits it  at the right angle it could look quite dramatic!

Mind you, we will have to see what it's like in the evening then the light will come from the left!

A little more red of a sunrise might add something!
When we got around the corner, the Sun had come up and it was the camera that controlled the light.

What OTL should have done was to switch on the 'Sunset' mode but instead he went with his own settings!

Yes, this is better and we don't think the Sunset mode would have added anything!
Back home OTL didn't get the ferret toys out and May and Eric spent a lot of time hunting balls and storing them under the sofa!

Lunch time we were out again and the frost had disappeared leaving some quaggy puddles on the path!

We told OTL about bringing The Missus up the hill and down into the woods!

OTL said we were 'Terrible Woofers!'

We had to push her up this hill!
We enjoy going through the woods even if the paths were a little 'Damp' in places but OTL had his wellies on and kept away from the squelchy bits!

No, we didn't take her down here 'cos it ends in a brick wall!
OTL says that his eye is so much improved over the 'Foggy' state it was before he had the Laser Treatment. It's going to be six weeks before he can go to the optician and get some new glasses but he is quite happy with the results and he could get away with using the glasses for reading 'cos the distance is clear and sharp!

TM has to go back to the hospital next week to see how her eyes are doing and there may be a need to have a minor operation to remove some fluid behind the lens.

We'll have more info after she has had the visit next week.

Dinner calls, see you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!
