They are still sleeping together!

Hello Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

We rolled out of bed this morning a whole half an hour late!

Lazy Old Two Legs!

The sun had got up so there was no exciting colours but we did try!

So, wot's wrong with black?
We got around the corner and then saw that the clouds were sweeping across the sun and unfortunately it didn't get any better!

Well, the sun is there, somewhere!
Back home OTL has been plonking away on the keyboard and mumbling strange curses at the computer. I really don't know why he gets himself into such a tizz wozz. Why don't he just telephone his customers and say 'Oi!' 'giss sum munny or we send in Eric'!

Lunchtime it was raining and we left the camera in the car. On the way around we spotted a 'West Highland Terrier' and we charged up to her woofing our tails off. You know, she totally ignored us and went up to OTL to get a stroke and a tickle on the tail!

She was wet from the rain but didn't seem to mind it and kept cuddling close to OTL to get more tickles!

TART!

Back home we settled down to a snooze on our beds in the office and OTL went back to banging away on the keyboard mumbling curses!

OTL has been thinking about getting the ladder out and cleaning the gutters before the winter sets in, that plus trimming the plant  that sits right up against the fence.

The only problem is that every time hi thinks he will have a bash......it rains!

All today we have seen Wendy get into the cuddle cup, followed by Eric who snuggles down next to her, then, after a while he gets up, goes down for a wee and afterwards climbs back into bed.

A little while later she does exactly the same.

Things are looking good, even if there are a few squeaks when they are let out to play while their cage is cleaned.

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Soggy Monday!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Today has been one of those Mucky Mondays when you just wish Tuesday would hurry up and arrive!

Old Two Legs has been in discussions with the Accountant man and has spent all afternoon on the computer trying to produce a 'Template' so he can send bits of paper electronically instead of sending what he calls PDF files.

Sounds like a waste of woofing time to me!

Out this morning we found a Grain Rock on the bench by the side of the football field, so click click and then reposition it on a concrete post!

This bench gets cold at night!
There's an oak tree growing by the side of the path and it seems that the leaves have turned yellow over night!

It changed almost over night!
Eric and Wendy were having a 'Rough 'n' Tumble this morning when they were let out of the cage. Although it was a bit rough and there was the occasional squeak from Wendy you could say that they were actually playing!

Yippee!

OTL didn't feel he could trust them both in the travelling cage at the same time so today it was Eric's turn to come out for a run. The wimpy ferret tried to spend all the walk tucked up inside the ferret bag!

OK, I'll come out when we get to the forest
Before the forest we tried to get him to have a dig in the sand on the beach but he couldn't get enough enthusiasm to dig even one hole!

I just don't want to dig, it's too cold!
Poor Eric, he just doesn't do cold!

The good news is they are cuddling up and things look super!

See you all tomorrow when the weather will be better (we hope) and OTL may have worked out how to do the 'Templates'

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

A Cuddly Sunday for Eric and Wendy!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Didn't it rain last night? I mean, there were puddles on the roads where normally there is none!

We thought that there may have been a sunrise worth a photo or two but at the last minute the clouds walked over the sun!

The sun is there somewhere!
Walking along the Sea Wall we noticed that there were empty Whizz Bang boxes. Old Two Legs reckons that together with the burnt out Whizz Bangs on the beach someone has spent a lot of money that in reality has been set on fire.

Why don't they empty their wallets and set fire to the money inside, it would save so much time and trouble!

I wonder how many chews you could buy with what that lot cost?
There are many paths in the forest and some we don't visit for a while. They seem to gather sniffs worth sniffing after a couple of weeks or so and we seem to spend a long time investigating them, much to OTL's annoyance!

We haven't been along here for a while.
Lunchtime came and I suggested that today we take Eric down on the sea front, so, opening the cage door ready to invite Eric to get out of bed we found this!

No thanks, too comfortable!
They don't always spend time cuddled up but when we do see it we all go,

 Aaaah!

You can't beat a Sunday Cuddle!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Rocky Gone!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

More good news!

Last night as Old Two Legs walked in to say good night to the ferrets and found that they were both tucked up together in the cuddle cup.

This morning OTL went in to see them and they were still in the same cuddle cup as last night!

Things are going well!

Down on the sea wall there was a reasonable sunrise and we even saw the sun come up over the horizon!

Good Morning World!
Today, The Missus headed off to the village hall for a day of glue slapping, so we had the run of the house. The ferrets had a great time as well, running all over the boxes and diving into the rubbish bin to rake the paper out onto the floor!

Lunchtime arrived and OTL woke Wendy up and dressed her in her harness and off we went again, heading down to the sea wall.

It took a little while for Wendy to get going but after a while she was chasing the tails off Holly and me alternatively.

You know what, Freddy de Ferret used to chase me as well!
We all had a good look but didn't find any more Grain Rocks, Holly says that we stand more of a chance to find another tomorrow 'cos it was Sunday and there is bound to be loads of Two Legs walking around the sea wall.

It will be interesting to see what the TL's make of a ferret with a Grain Rock!

We are hoping that the Whizz Bangs don't go off tonight. Holly won't miss them at all!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Another Rock!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Well, first for the good news. Old Two Legs has been keeping a close watch on Wendy and Eric and how they are getting on. At the beginning of their forced imprisonment they were hissing and spitting and OTL had to drag them apart at all hours of the day and night!

Over the last three weeks things have settled down and OTL has often found them both in the same cuddle cup but separated by a pinny that OTL had put in the cuddle cup to keep Wendy happy.

Sometimes there would be to occasional crash as Eric was flung from the cuddle cup, more in surprise as Wendy had woken him up and he was of the opinion that she was going to attack him!

When they are allowed out for a run, quite often they would end up having a punch up, which again had OTL separating the pair of them!

Today, they played together in that Wendy did her 'Run Backwards and Roll over' invitation for a game. She does that with OTL when she wants a rough and tumble with OTL!

Later on this afternoon, Eric was in a cuddle cup with a pinny and Wendy emerged from a cuddle cup on the top shelf, walked down to Eric's cuddle cup, climbed in by walking all over him and settled down next to Eric, with no pinny between them!

Eric raised his head, saw it was her and settled down to snoozing again!

RESULT!

It's going to be a little while before it is all peace and quiet but this is the best results we have had so far!

This morning we got down to the Sea Wall early and OTL managed to capture the sunrise, not the most amazing sunrise we have ever seen but worthy of the shot!

We reckon the sun is up and hiding behind the cloud!
Coming out of the forest we stopped at the gate 'cos there, sitting on top of the gate post, all bright and new was another Grain Rock!

OTL moved it from the gate post to the other post with a bit of rot at the top and jammed it into the hole there, looks all bright and colourful!

Well, it makes a change from Whizz Bangs!
 See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

The Rock Has Rolled On!

Hello Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

We got up late today, well, we slept and Old Two Legs got up late then woke us up, late!

Normally that wouldn't mean much but we did get the chance to say hello to the gang as we all headed off to the sea wall.

We had a problem in that both Holly and I needed a poo and the gang got ahead of us and disappeared over the hill!

Hello Woofers!
When we got down to the sea wall all we found was a Boxer Type with an attitude problem and kept looking back and grumbling at us!

Yeah, you and whose army?
We have noticed that there are many more trees dropping their leaves and there are some super colours on the leaves as well.

Pretty!
After looking at the leaves we noticed a new Grain Rock on the ground, so, OTL picked it up and placed it in the crook of the tree where it would be on show but safe from marauding woofers!

A Grain Rock with bits on!
Lunchtime we woke Eric up, well, he was sort of awake but still snoozy! He had a walk along the Sea Wall and then had some fun on the beach digging in the sea shells!

OK, where are the crabs?
As we went over the hill towards the forest we noticed that they have been grass cutting some more and left little piles of stuff in a straight line. Mmm, strange, maybe we will be getting reports of UFOs as well as Grain Rocks!

It's the Grain version of the Nazca Lines!
You know, we do get some strange sights this end of the world!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Rocks are Rolling Again!

Hi Woofers!

Us again! Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

Last night there were a few more Whizz Bangs and Holly got a little worried but after a while settled down, cuddled up with Old Two Legs!

Mind you, she didn't hang about when OTL threw us out for our 'Good Night Wee', as soon as she went out she turned around and ran back, just in case there was another Whizz Bang ready to go off!

Mind you, that was the reason she woofed to go out for a wee at one thirty!

OTL didn't hear her but The Missus did, well done TM!

Out for a walk this morning OTL took the camera and for some reason the 'Special Effects' switch was in the 'On' position and he didn't notice, so, it has resulted in some interesting results!

All Dark and Doom Laden!
It was dark but not as dark as these pictures would have you believe. The setting on the camera was 'Low Key' which means it is darken as to 'Hi Key' which is very bright!

I'm still here and the Whizz Bangs didn't scare me!
We said 'Hello' to the blue faced rock and when we got to the gate, there was another rock in the rotted post!

It looked a bit strange sitting on  it's shoulder, so, OTL being the kind sort of Two Legs, brought the rock out and sat it on the gate top bar. At least in that position you could read the words!

Don't worry, rain will be along soon!
Strange, but at lunchtime we headed back and found it had gone walkabout!

The blue one was still on the bench!

We enjoyed the run along the sea front and found a few new sniffs now the council have cut the grass and weeds!

Hey! This is the one from the Greyhounds!
We dashed along the beach and dug a few holes and then rolled in the holes. We could do that 'cos OTL was walking along the Sea Wall.

OK OTL? Can I carry on digging?
When we ran out of spaces to dig holes, we ran to the other end but ran out of beach, so we headed up the stairs and back to OTL.

Race you to the end Holly Chops!
Back home we were presented with some food and with suitably enlarged tummies, fell asleep!

 See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

More Rocks from Grain!

Hi Woofers!

We are back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

Well, last night there was just one Whizz Bang episode and it didn't last long and it didn't upset Holly Chops, mind you, she was eating a chew at the time and nothing normally comes between Holly and Food!

You know, we have never really questioned Eric and his love of rubber or latex, I mean, his delivery of 'Rubber Monthly' was to do with keeping clean whilst rolling around in his cage!

We thought that Aunt Sue and her tale of some Teak Oil was funny, 1970? It's obvious that she doesn't give her furniture a clean every year!

On our walk this morning we saw a container ship heading off into the sunrise, what with all the mist and the dark, it looked like ghost ship!

Look carefully and you will see it!
As we got close to the car park we saw a couple of Grain Rocks on the gate. Well, one was sitting on top of the post that holds the gate shut and the other was hiding in the rotted part of the post that holds the hinges!

A Stone Pumpkin!
The other was trying to hide but it really didn't blend in to the post, maybe it was the colour of his skin!

I'm not painted Blue, it's just that I'm blooming COLD!
As we were close to the car Old Two Legs left them where they were and we headed for home.

Lunchtime it was a lot warmer and the sun was out as well. Holly managed to get a little run on the beach but I decided that there was nothing new on the beach and left Holly to have a sniff at the old sea weed!

No, nothing new and no one following!
When we got to the gate we found that one of the Grain Rocks, the one on the gate post, had gone on a walk about but the other one, the cold one, was still in the rotted bit of the post.

OTL picked him up and relocated him onto the bench where we had parked the car.

Well, it's warmer out here that in that post!
The picture above is a close up of the rock but if you were to walk past it would you see it on the bench?

Spot The Rock!

We reckon that tomorrow the rock will have walked off or been picked up by a passing Two Legs, still, we will know on our next visit to the car park!

Today is the fifth and we are expecting loads of Whizz Bangs tonight and the next time will be the weekend. We are going to give Holly loads of cuddles and we may even end up in bed early 'cos that is the only place she feels safe!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

There's a Haircut coming!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

We had some heavy rain last night and Holly and I were thinking we may need our rain coats but just before we were ready to go, it stopped!

Old Two Legs said there was one of his famous 'Windows' in the air and we managed to get around before it all started again!

It was the same at lunchtime, there sitting to the west was another window so off we went again!

Lucky for us it stayed dry!
Just for a change, we didn't meet anyone on our walk and Old Two Legs said he should have brought young Eric along with us!

You know we didn't even see another Grain Rock, just a few fungi looking all wet and soggy!

Holly and I had a run on the beach and found the holes we dug yesterday, OTL didn't get the tennis ball out so we were left to chase our tails along the high tide mark where the sea weed came to rest when the tide went out!

Back home we had a peek into the ferret cage hoping we would find them cuddled up together but today it was separate cuddle cups, mind you, both of them were snoring their tails off!

Now, you know that Eric has got this thing about rubber, well, he has taken to pinching the hair brush that OTL uses on Holly and I. When OTL gets the brush out and starts grooming us it is a sure sign he is preparing us for the dreaded 'Short Back and Sides'!

Lucky for us, Eric has taken to finding the brush and because it is a rubber handled brush, he hides it in the most unusual places, like under the boxes of card stuff The Missus keeps in her work area of the lounge!

So, after a quick brush I escape and the brush gets pinched and hidden and then OTL forgets what he was going to do and I escape a brushing.

Until he remembers and off we go again!

Holly has spent the afternoon sitting at the window watching the birds feeding on TM's stale Tea Bread that she has been storing in the cupboard. The birds love it especially when it rains and the consistency goes from 'Firm' to 'Soggy'.

The pigeons fight over it and chase each other away!

OTL says it makes a change to the normal burnt offerings he gets, I mean, I thought he liked over cooked lettuce!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Nasty Whizz Bangs!

Hello Woofers!

We are still here, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Last night it all started, horrid Whizz Bangs scaring Holly. Those soppy Two Legs letting off loads of nasty Whizz Bangs down on the Caravan Site. I suppose they think it was all good fun but Holly decided that she would sink her teeth into their butts if they got any closer!

Holly sat on the sofa with The Missus and later cuddled up with Old Two Legs. She was shivering which lasted until we went to bed!

This morning she was all better but we still have tomorrow night to get over and of course there is next weekend!

The walk this morning was a bit boring, chilly but not raining although there was some rain last night which made the path rather muddy!

The sun was late in getting up and there were some rather dark clouds.

Not the best sunrise we have ever seen!
We did spot the Brant Geese on the mud flats, eating breakfast and honking at each other.

Don't talk with your beak full!

Today has been rather quiet, OTL has been mucking about on the computer and TM has been playing with the glue pot. The ferrets have been asleep and Holly and I have been snoozing and cuddling a chew each!

As we were getting ready to go out OTL was going to bring Eric or Wendy with us but looking in the cage we couldn't find them, they were cuddled up together under the pinny in the same cuddle cup!

Things are getting better!

On our way around the forest we came across piles of grass and bracken, Holly thought t6hat it was piles of grass eating animal poo.

I could sniff the grass but missed out on the poo!

There is a lot here for just one animal!
Down on the beach OTL was throwing the ball for me and I decided to have a game with him. Every time he threw the ball I chased it, dug a hole and tried to bury it!

Let's see him dig this one up!
Back on our path back to the car park OTL found another of those Grain Rocks. It was left on the side of the steps, so, OTL being OTL, he picked it up and transferred it a bit further along the path and put it next to a fungi!

Look! It''s a Rock Agaric!
Back home both Eric and Wendy were both still in the cuddle cup together.  OTL noticed this morning that they were running past each other in almost a play mode. Well, Wendy didn't try to take a lump out of Eric and he didn't make a grab for her neck!

Things are looking up!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
