F1 Racing and Holly Chops Wins!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, this weekend is going well as far as the weather goes, loads of sunshine and a few gentle breezes!

Mind you, it started off being a bit misty and we were unsure of how the day would turn out but being it was warm we reckoned it would get better!

It's a good job the tide is out!
I was thinking about going for a paddle in the mud when we noticed young Barney II charging along the Sea Wall!

Yo! OTL!
As normal, he was all over OTL like a sniff! The one thing about Barney is he is such a jolly little woofer!

He had a cuddle with OTL and we had a sniff and he continued on with his walk!

Holly and I had a sniff along the beach and found a crab that had sadly died!

No Holly, we can't make it into Crab Paste!
Our lunchtime walk was a little earlier 'cos we wanted to see the F1 Racing on the TV.

It was just as well we got out early 'cos the tourists were turning up for a paddle in the mud!

Look! There's the mud over there!
As we had heard it all before, Holly and I went on ahead to find a shady place where we could have a rest until OTL caught us up!

All we need now is a nice cool drink!
We got home in time for the beginning of the race and we all picked a driver to follow!

Holly Chops got first choice and picked on Hamilton, just 'cos he was in pole position. OTL picked om Palmer, mainly 'cos I picked Vettel and The Missus picked Trump.

Now we all thought that was daft but she had been playing on her phone following Twitums or something that was on about Trump visiting Texas!

Some times we worry about her and that phone!

In the end it was Hamilton who won the race and as a prize, Holly got to choose which half of the treat chew she was getting from TM!

A winner or wot?

Next week it's Monza in Italy so we are all looking forward to some more good racing!

See you tomorrow!

The Queues have started!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

This morning, first thing we spotted a sailing barge out on the estuary but because there was so little wind, it was hardly moving!

It's a pity Old Two Legs didn't have his telephoto lens, we might have got a better shot!

All this with a 35mm lens!
While OTL was watching the barge going nowhere, Miss May was having a great time rolling in a sniff on the beach!

Oooooooooh! This is so good!
While all this was going on, Holly and I headed off the beach to get some sniffs on the path that headed up the hill. We heard a woof and Holly immediately knew it was Bert who really fancies Holly!
Hey! Where's my girl friend?
OTL told him she was on the path and off he went!

Miss May was still rolling around and by now she had her tongue sticking out!

This just can't get any better!
Young Eric was more interested in the gulls on the mud. He reckons that it would be great if he could catch one, put a saddle on it and fly around like Harry Potter!

Are they Hippogriffs and could I fly them?
You know that Eric gets some funny ideas!

Being a holiday weekend, the tourists have turned up and parked themselves on the beach and were making sandcastles and digging holes in the sand!

More tourists!
Now, we don't mind the tourists that turn up in the morning but there have been those tourists who do some 'Wild Camping'! Mind you, we have been told that in the evening loads of youngsters turn up and play music so those wild campers don't get an early night!

A not very happy wild camper!
Hey! We got a message from young Rocky the Parrot! Seems he is settling down in his new home and is having a great time. He sent us an email to say he reads our blog each day and thinks the antics of our ferrets is just the funnest thing he has read in ages!

Well Rocky, you keep reading and if you can send a photo of yourself we will include it in that days blog!

Fame at last!

See you all tomorrow!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

The Tourists are here already

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Now, we almost forgot but this weekend is Bank Holiday. That is where the Two Legs get in their cars and drive to a local motorway where they sit in their cars for hours on end!

It is also the time when the railways get mended by shutting down the trains so no one can go anywhere over the Bank Holiday! The same thing happens with the aeroplanes and then everyone spends all weekend sitting in the departure lounge waiting for Monday so they can go home!

Down here in North Kent we have got some early tourists getting onto the beach early to reserve their places!

We are lucky to get this spot!
Holly and I decided that we would do some serious posing up on the Sea Wall to see if the tourist  could be intimidated into going away!

I know we look good but they are still not moving!
Old Two Legs went off looking for Nargles but only found a small crab that had got tangled up in the sea weed!

Someone help me 'cos I got my claw stuck!
We had no need to worry 'cos after shaking his claw a couple of times he fell off the rock and landed on his back in the rock pool!

Once on the path OTL went into 'Hunt Mode' looking for butterflies and snakes and lizards!

Well, today we spotted a Small Copper butterfly which looked all fresh and colourful, so we reckon it is a young one!

This is a Small Copper!
A couple of times, OTL has spotted lizards on top of an ant hill and now that he had the camera with him they decided that they would stay hidden under the grass instead of coming out and posing for us!

You can tell when things are getting desperate, OTL starts taking 'Artistic' photos!

Well, if he says it's artistic then who am I to argue, I'm only a woofer!
Back home all the jobs had been done and OTL decided to sit down and watch the latest episode of 'Game of Thrones'.

Just as it finished, The Missus arrived home from her day out with her mates!

Wonder what is for dinner tonight? I know that we have Doggy Scoff 'cos I've had it served up already!

See you tomorrow!

Freddy's Factor 35 is missing!

Hi Ho Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Yet again it has been a warm day, right from first thing this morning!

Just for a change, Miss May decided she wanted to walk along the Sea Wall. Now that was OK, until she came across the sniff of a big woofer and she just had to tell Old Two Legs there might be danger close!

You've got a possible 'Situation' here!
Holly called out that there was a woofer on the horizon and Miss May did what any self respecting ferret would do....................she legged it back to OTL!

One ferret coming into land!
It didn't take her long to get back to OTL, you see these ferrets can really move from a standing start up to 'High Speed' in the swish of a tail!

Almost home!
May was straight up and around OTL's shoulder faster than you could imagine!

Eric was down the bottom of the Sea Wall sniffing a crab sniff he had found.

We looked up and down the Sea Wall but the only woofer we could see was Holly Chops, sitting on the Sea Wall catching a few rays!
You didn't know I could do a big woof?
On the way back to the car, OTL stopped at an ants nest to see if we could spot that lizard he saw the other day. Unfortunately we didn't see it but to be fair, it was only at midday that we have seen it before!

Lunchtime came around before we knew it and as the tide was in I decided to go hunting crabs.

Instead of digging around in the rocks I went straight in and stuck my nose under the waves to see wot I could see.

All I saw was the sand and the mud!

'ere! I can blow bubbles through my nose!
Holly was on the beach catching up on her sun tan and Freddy was stretched out but he was not a happy ferret.

He had lost his Factor 35 Lotion and was trying to get OTL to go back to the car and get it for him!

It's no good, I dare not move unless I've got my lotion on!
You know wot? He even got OTL to carry him some of the way back to the car!

That Freddy can be such a crafty ferret sometimes!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

A Ball of a Day!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here with you again!

We were glad to read that Archie Babe escaped that woofer with a bad attitude!  Mind you, with his Two Legs looking after him he should be OK!

This morning it looked as though it would be a bit cooler with the clouds but when we got down to the beach we found that it was rather warm!

If the tide was in I'd be in for a swim!
As we came off the beach Eric found a foot ball on the Sea Wall! Someone had left it on the beach and Eric had never seen a ball so big!

'ere! It don't squeak!
Eric was having a great time, he was chasing it up the path and then down again and then up again!

Come on, on yer 'ead this time!
It was good to see May join in the game as well! You know she was rather good at dribbling it along the path!

Miss May throwing a dummy!
We had to leave it on the path and hope that it would still be there when we come back at lunchtime.

Well, when we came back with Freddy and Wendy, the ball had gone! Freddy said he didn't mind 'cos it was quite warm and he didn't fancy running around chasing a ball. He decided that catching a few rays is a better idea!

Someone fetch me a cooling drink please!
Typical Freddy Boy! Anything for a relaxing life!

Back home The Missus ran out to the ice cream van that came 'Ding-a-Linging' down our road. She got three super ice cream cones, that is one for her, one for OTL and one for Holly and me!

It was great giving it a good lick and Holly and I got ice cream all over our muzzles!

We both had fun licking it all off!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

It's alway good to have a ferret helping you!

Yo! Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Now, you know just how inquisitive a ferret can be?

Did you also know that they can get into loads of trouble by being inquisitive?

Did you know just how helpful a ferret can be when they put their mind to it?

Well, today it was Eric's turn to show how he can help Old Two Legs.

It was breakfast time in our household and Holly and I were finishing off our snooze on the bed while The Missus was downstairs sorting out the washing.

OTL had got his breakfast and some Lactose Free milk for the ferrets. Little Miss May was ferreting around looking for the Ferretone and a couple of bits of chicken treats they have every morning.

OTL was attacking his bowl of Rabbit Food when he heard an unusual noise coming from under the work top.

Looking over the top of his bowl he saw...................................

Eric!
Just what are you doing? Says OTL. As if he couldn't see what Eric was doing!

Just getting out a bit of Cat Litter for our cage!
Then, back goes Eric into the bag and proceeds to dig out even more of the wood chippings all over the place!

Not only was Eric being very helpful but he was having a great time digging in the bag as well!

Hey! It tickles when it falls down onto my tummy!
Miss May was on top of the worktop finishing off the chicken treats and the last lick of Ferretone!

She looked at OTL and said........ 'One Day He'll Grow Up!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

It's a Bit Cloudy today!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, today we all woke up early but after looking at the clock we decided to go back to sleep.

Then we woke up again, late!

Mind you, it wasn't very sunny and in fact when we left for the beach it was raining!

Not the best outlook!
It didn't last too long and before you could say 'Woofers' we were investigating the sniffs left over by the last tide!

No, I don't even fancy a swim!
Miss May and Eric decided they would have a race along the Sea Wall and of course, Miss May won paws down!

Come on slow paws, I'm beating you!
Now, because the sun was hiding behind all the clouds, the temperature was under twenty degrees which was just right for Fred and Wendy. We had been leaving them at home 'cos they don't like it too warm but today, it was just fine!

They had a great time on the beach, both were playing 'Dig and Whizz' !

Come on, it's my turn to whizz!
Wendy was diving nose first into the sand doing a Holly Chops nose dive which Miss Wendy just loves.

........and now I'm a Holly Chops!
One of the fun bits was when we headed back to the car, we got as far as the football field when Freddy wanted to have a game of football! Again, Old Two Legs had forgotten the ball but Freddy said we could use a bit of rabbit poo instead!

No, I'm not going to head a bit of rabbit poo and I don't care just how dry it is!
Back home Holly and I got a bowl of chicken each, it was super. We ran into the kitchen and were Nose Down, Tail Up and we didn't come up for air until we had finished it!

Now, wot has OTL got for dinner tonight?

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Sunday is for Tourists!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret back with you!

Wot a fun day it's been!

First of all The Missus was up the village hall again with her ladies  and the glue pot!

We got an early morning run on the beach and the ferrets got a chance to play 'Chase' along the Sea Wall!

Shift yer tail I'm catching you up!
The morning was spent snoozing while Old Two Legs got stuck into the chores!

Before we knew it, lunchtime had arrived and we were back down the beach again.

Being a Sunday and as it was sunny, we parked up next to the football pitch 'cos our normal car park would be full of tourists!

I noticed that the white lines had been drawn on the grass and although we didn't bring a ball with us, I reckoned we could have had a game of football!

Come on! I'll be in goal!
The sun was shining and the tide was in, so, you know happened next!

'ere, my periscope has gone wonky!
You know you just can't have a wonky periscope when you go swimming!

OTL had left the towel in the car so I had to make do with a dry grass to roll in and dry my back!

Daisy, get up there is someone coming!
I don't know why Holly gets all embarrassed when I have a roll, I mean, it's so much fun!

Little Amber came trotting along as I was just finishing my roll. She woofer at OTL, so that demanded a woof from both Holly and I, I mean, no one woofs at OTL without our permission!

OK, OK, it was only a little woof!
Amber is all of nine months old, so we let her off this time!

We got taken home and OTL went off to the hall to take a picture of the ladies who had been awarded a 'Certificate of Appreciation' by the Harrietsham Ferret Rescue for the very kind donation from the 'Card 'N' Thong' they ran earlier this year!

Dead smart it looked as well and although we didn't get all the ladies in the picture they all know just how much their kindness and generosity is appreciated by all the ferrets at the rescue.

....and they even hid the Glue Pot!
Just in case you can't read the words, OTL took a close up of the 'Certificate of Appreciation'.

Dead smart or wot!
Of course, Eric de Ferret just had to have a cuddle with Auntie Di who reckons he is the smartest ferret she has ever seen!

You can't beat a cuddle with your Favourite Ferret!
So, that was our day and now we can look forward to a snooze on the sofa and a raw carrot to nibble!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Our Banjo Pickin' Guitar Strummin' Ferret does it again!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret here!

It's been a super Saturday today, we were up early 'cos The Missus is off to the village hall to slosh the glue about and we get to have fun with Old Two Legs and the ferrets!

Now the fun started early as OTL was having breakfast in his office. While he has breakfast, he let's the ferrets loose for a small rampage before heading off for our morning walk. Now, Eric, being an inquisitive little ferret has bee getting into all sorts of trouble climbing all over the cages and on top of the metal cabinet where OTL keeps all his stuff.

Today he has hit new heights!

OTL was spooning a mouthful of rabbit food into his chops when out of the corner of his eye he spotted Eric with his back paws on the banjo and his front paws on the guitar!

He couldn't go backwards and he couldn't go forwards and as he stood there he found out that he couldn't hang on to anything and slid off the guitar and started to head towards the ground, a long way beneath him!

It was a good thing that OTL had a hand free 'cos Eric landed in it!

OTL put him back down onto the floor and the little monster climbed up the cage and then onto the banjo and stopped!

OTL managed to get this photo before 'Rescuing' him again!

Now, where did I go wrong last time?
Down on the beach it was clear of everyone except a Two Legs who looked like he was out of breath 'cos he kept hanging onto the railings next to the steps!

Maybe he has been trying to climb over guitars as well!

Well, he hasn't moved for at least three minutes, maybe he is stuck!
Lunchtime it got a bit cloudy but it was still warm.

Rain? Sun? Warm? Windy? Rain? Sun? Warm? Windy?Rain? Sun? Warm? Windy?
Up on the hill a load of tourists were trying to set light to the benches with their Bar-B-Q!

You can tell it's the weekend!

That's a funny sniff, sausages and molten plastic!
OTL went off to the village hall to photograph the ladies and a super certificate they got from the Harrietsham Ferret Rescue for all the super help they have given this year.

OTL says he has some work to do and will try to get it ready to show tomorrow!

More hard work! Poor Lad!

See you tomorrow!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.

Not the Best Friday we have had!

Hello Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret!

Do you ever get those days when it starts off well but then sort of crash dives into the biggest pile of poo you can imagine?

Well, today it has been one!

Started off just great, we went for our walk down on the beach, dug a few holes, sniffed a few sniffs, told a ferret where to dig their own hole and the sun was shinning!

What could possibly go wrong?

'ere! This is a sniff worth saving for later on this afternoon!
Of course, Holly Chops got so excited that she dived into the sniff and used it all up, saving none for the afternoon stroll!

I just gotta have a roll! I just can't resist it, I can't wait!
So, there it was, a sniff to die for being used up by a Porky Woofer with no self control!

Miss May dug a couple of holes then went up to Holly to get a taste of her hole and sniff but Holly was being all 'Possesive' and told her where to go!

This is My 'Ole, so go and find your own!
Back home we had fun sun bathing in the garden while Old Two Legs was doing his jobs and doing some 'Manufacturing' for a customer who got in a panic 'cos they had run out of stuff!

Lunchtime Freddy and Miss Wendy came with us 'cos they thought that it wasn't going to be too hot.

We parked up in the car park where the football pitch is and OTL opened the back door and Holly and I flew out!

Just as we hit the ground we both got a sniff of fox poo!

Off we raced right into the middle of the football pitch where this super pile was calling to us!

OTL didn't see us start 'cos he was getting the ferrets on their leads and sorting out the ferret bag where the poo bags and camera is kept.

He scoops he ferret up and shuts the door, locks it, then he calls us!

Did we take any notice? Not blooming likely!

We rolled and wriggled and rolled and pushed each other out of the way then we rolled again and wriggled our tails in it and then working it all over our backs and shoulders and then we both dived onto it so that it was all over our tummies!

OTL gave a whistle calling us away from the fox poo, we had suddenly gone all deaf to OTL and his whistle, even when he did his big, loud, pay attention, whistle.

We were still rolling and diving and wriggling our tails off!

Well, OTL sat down on a bench with the ferret and we could see him saying something but Holly and I had both gone totally deaf!

Well, to cut a long tale a bit shorter, we finally left the poo and joined OTL at the bench but there was a problem, OTL didn't think our covering of fox poo was what he wanted to share in an enclosed car!

Back home we were going to show The Missus but we got marched straight out to the back garden where OTL got the bath out of the shed, then he got a bucket of warm water and a bottle of shampoo and a brush. I was stripped of my collar and harness and plonked into the bath tub. I got soaked with water, covered with shampoo and scrubbed all over from the tip of my tail to the top of my nose! I got squeezed and scrubbed and scrubbed again until I lost all the fox poo and sniffed like a Tart!

Then I got rinsed down and dried in one of our doggy towels then finally I got shoved into the kitchen to cool off.

Then it was Holly's turn, she got the same treatment, and you know how much she hates water!

Finally she was dried off and shoved into the kitchen to cool down as well!

It was Horrible!

Still, there is some good news. it's TM & OTL's wedding anniversary, thirty years!

OTL says that we will have a Chinese tonight, so that means we will get some Plawn Clackers and Plawns!

Well, I suppose it's not all bad.

But we did enjoy that fox poo!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Freddy and Eric de Ferret.
