Snoozy Saturday.

Hello Woofers!

It's the Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret show!

What a dreary old day it's been, we haven't seen the sun all day. Old Two Legs was late in getting up this morning so we had to get The Missus to take us out for our morning walk around the field!

I mean, OTL was being lazy by staying in bed a whole hour longer than normal!

While we were snoozing on the bed OTL was cleaning the cage out and afterwards played a game of 'Chase' with Eric.

OTL would squeeze the squeaky ball then throw it down the hallway for Eric to chase and retrieve and then for OTL to throw again and sometimes the ball would go down the stairs!

Eric thinks this is one of the best games and Dooks his tail off as he runs backwards and forwards!

Lunchtime we headed off to the sea wall, the weather not getting any better.

Dismal or wot?
We stopped at the bench and found a Duck Poo on the bench, I mean, at least OTL cleans up our poo but these ducks are so lazy!

Not the best smelling poo I've seen!
One of the wild flower bushes was bright with flowers but there were no insects on it, just flowers!

Not a creepy-crawly to be seen anywhere!
Down on the buddleia tree there were a few butterflies but all the same breed. The buddleia looked more interesting than the butterflies, the way it curled up and over as the flowers grew.

Maybe tomorrow we will bring the close up lens for a better shot!
We recorded the F1 racing on the TV this afternoon, so I reckon we will be watching that tonight, well, it's something new to fall asleep in front of tonight!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Busy Friday

Hi Woofers!

We are back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

Normally we have a lazy day on Friday. Out first thing, wandering around the football field then back for a snooze while Old Two Legs cleans the ferret cages. After that it is another snooze before the lunchtime stroll along the sea wall.

No today!

We have had telephone calls and emails and messages on the mobile phone and even more emails!

I don't know what has happened, maybe the news that the pubs will be open or wot but suddenly OTL has sent loads of orders!

Not that he is complaining, it's just that we are wondering why they didn't order earlier when we had a bit of time!

Not to worry, as OTL says, it's all money!

When we got down to the sea wall there was a funny looking boat/ship heading up the Medway, must say, we've not seen one like this before!

Mind you, looking back we could see Southend on Sea quite clearly, it's a pity thet the wind was blowing in the wrong direction and that means we don't get a sniff of kebab on the wind!

In the forest we spotted a couple of butterflies and there was one on the buddleia, it makes a change to see the butterflies, especially as they have been cutting all the wild flowers!

Let's hope we see some more before the summer ends, we miss seeing the butterflies in the wild flowers.

Well, we managed to get all the orders out and although it is a bit late, we have done all that was needed. All we got to do now is cross our claws and hope the invoices get paid just as quickly!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.!

Down came the rain!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Well, it seems that every time we have stuck our nose out the front door and down came the rain!

There were times when all we did was to look out the window and that will start the rain off again!

The pond was kept well topped up as the rain came down and even the frogs hid under the lilly pads!

The flowers got a good wash as well!
Lunchtime came and we headed off to the sea wall and again down came the rain from a dark and wet looking cloud!

Here comes the rain!
We headed off and tried to get it all done before the next bank of rain caught us up.

There was a big cloud burst just before the forest and we all ran down to the first tree that provided some cover from the rain!

Now, this will make us wet!
We ran all the way back to the car and were away just before the rain caught us up!

We were glad to spend the afternoon snoozing in the office while OTL was fiddling with the computer.

You'd think that by now he would have had it all sorted!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Cloudy

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Not the best weather today but at least it didn't rain!

Now, Sarn, those flowers, I think, are wild Sweet Pea plants, we have several bushes along the path and once the blooms are out it looks super all the way along the path!

Here is another shot but this time OTL's eye ball is behind the camera!
The rain kept off but there were still loads of clouds blowing across the Thames.

You can just see Southend on Sea at the bottom of the picture.
We stopped at the bench for a rest and I jumped up onto the bench and started playing a game on OTL. He would pick up the camera to take a picture of me but just as he was about to press the shutter release I would turn my head away so all he got was a shot of my ear!

Of course, he kept on calling me and in the end managed to get a shot of me!

Sneaky OTL!
Of course, Holly decided that she would be just as sneaky as OTL and stay on the ground!

Is that a Zoom Lens?
There was a funny looking plant we passed on our way to the car park. OTL says that he has seen the plant before but can't remember it's name!

Not sure, but it looks good!
Just before we entered the forest the wild flowers ran out and there were Hover Flies and smaller bugs, then we saw a Grass Hopper bouncing around the grass and then it landed on a blade of grass.

Just long enough for OTL to catch this before it jumped into the air and disappeared!

Quick, take a picture before I'm off!
One good thing happened when we got home. Holly and I spotted a cat, that smelly black and white thing that likes to poo on the drive. As soon as we got out of the car we raced to where we last saw it but the sneaky thing had jumped over the fence and legged it away!

I think the weather man said that it will be getting warm and sunny over the weekend, roll on the week end!

See you tomorrow!

Wet!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

It's been a bit of a grotty day today. It's only the weather that has put a downer on today, it was slightly damp this morning and by the time we were ready to go out at lunchtime, it was raining!

Not exactly bucketing down but that nasty stuff that gets into your fur and ends up making your back wet through to the skin!

Of course, Holly was complaining and showing off at getting wet even though she was wearing her big harness!

and now my tail is wet!
Being it was wet, Old Two Legs took his camera with him but to prevent water getting into the workings, he put the camera into a poo bag with the lens sticking out.

One small problem was that when he put the camera up to his eye, he couldn't see a thing!

OTL was not going to be outdone and held the camera in front of him and guessed where it was pointing and what he was pointing at!

Strange enough, the pictures weren't too bad!

Even got the water droplets!
Not that it pleased Holly who was getting a soggy back side as well as the soggy tail!

It even squeaks when I walk through the grass!
In the end, OTL wasn't listening to Holly and was more interested in trying to get the pictures balanced and not looking wobbly!

Now, that's not too bad is it?
On our way through the forest, we came across some more flowers and OTL tried his hand again but the picture didn't come out as planned cos what he needed was Landscape but the lens wasn't wide enough!

Pretty but could do with being a bit wider!
Still, it wasn't too bad considering he couldn't see what he was aiming the camera at!

Back home we were packed off to the office beds while OTL and The Missus took the little car to the garage for its first service.

Holly and I kept a watch out through the window, waiting for them to return and rushed down stairs when they turned into the road.

One of the good things about being left on our own is that after we were dried off, we could have another roll on the bed to finish off drying our tails!

Let's hope that tomorrow the sun comes out!

Bye, bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Eric's lunchtime stroll.

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret back with you!

Well, it's been 'Warm' today, windy and warm, nothing too extreme but quite pleasant.

It started this morning first thing, out we went and had a most enjoyable wander around the Football field, then we wandered around the wheat field, weeing on the wild flowers!

Lunchtime was fun, Eric decided to come out with us and yes, he managed to attract the attention of two Two Legs and we got the same old thing, 'Does he bite? Does he smell? To which Holly answered the questions for Eric.......'Yes! I love chewing fingers and I smell but not as much as you!'

Anyone would think Holly has something against Two Legs Stupid Questions!

Eric loves getting to the beach, he has a little dig but doesn't go in for a swim, mainly cos the tide is out and he doesn't fancy a dip in the mud!

Sea Shells or OK, it's the mud that I don't like!
On our way back to the car Holly and I love stopping for a sniff and a wee, Eric on the other paw loves to have a run on the grass and if either Holly or I are in the way he does what Freddy used to do!

Shift yourself girl or I'll do a Freddy on you!
I must admit, Eric does get a wriggle on when he is chasing after us, I have developed a third eye so that I can watch out for him coming up behind!

Stand still and let me bite your butt!
This afternoon OTL went off with the cars and got them washed and polished at the local car wash. Both now look all smart, washed and polished.

The small car is going in for a service tomorrow so we will be going out in the big car for our midday walk.

All we need is for Holly to get a Grubby Butt and I can see we'll be walking home!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Sunday, sweet Sunday!

Hello Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

We love Sundays, nothing to do except snooze and sleep!

As we didn't have to get up for anything, we over slept by a whole hour this morning and would have stayed in bed longer if the ferrets hadn't woken us up by rattling the cage door!

By the time Old Two Legs had got up and had his shower both Holly and I were busting for a wee!

There were no other woofers on the football field so OTL was sort of wandering around half asleep watching us sort of somewhere to have a poo!

The Missus was busy doing some more videos to upload onto FaceAche and we had a great lagh when she said that after the third attempt she had finally got the thing to work but found that she hadn't pressed the 'Record' button!

Wotta Plonker!

Now, she has got a gismo that holds her iPaddy thingy but when she is pounding away the camera gets a 'Shake' and it all goes wobbly. So, after much thinking, OTL has got out a stand that used to hold a projector and bolted the holder to the top table and then loaded the other shelves with heavy boxes full of card making inks. Now the iPaddy Thingy is separate from the table she makes that cards on and now nothing wobbles when she is pounding away and recording!

Who's a clever OTL!

Lunchtime Eric decided he wanted to come out with us, so, that means he didn't take the camera cos two woofers and a fast ferret were about the maximum he could handle especially with all the TL's wandering around with their own woofers!

We will have to get out his very small camera and see if that will be any better to take photo's of us on the beach. I mean, he wouldn't think twice if he had to drop it if a woofer came too close but the bigger camera would be a bit expensive to get cleaned!

This afternoon we have been very snoozy and that includes OTL as well! You see, he is listening to an audio book and is using his Bose Headphones which are seriously soft and comfortable and very clear audio. Plus the fact that OTL is a bit deaf, this means he can turn up the volume and not wake TM up!

The only problem is, he keeps falling asleep, missing a couple of chapters, waking up, rewinding the same bit several times!

Wotta Plonker!

We do our best to keep him awake but it is hard work!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

And now we get rain!

Hi There Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

What a change in the weather! Up in Scotland they are suffering from Thunder and Lightening and down here the clouds have arrived an so has the rain!

Mind you, it is rain but not the floody type of rain, more the soggy stuff!

We managed to get around the football field this morning and we also went around the farmers field, just for a change!

Being Saturday, Old Two Legs was finishing up the paperwork and catching up on paying outstanding invoices!

It's getting close to the end of the month and it's always fun trying to balance the outgoing payments and the planned incoming payments cos not all of the customers pay on time!

Mind you, OTL has a sneaky way of getting payments in, he just waits until the customer wants some more stuff and they find they are on what OTL calls 'Stops', that is translated to, 'No Money, No Gear'!

Lunchtime we were out again but it started to rain as we went out and it got worse, so, we took the shortcut back to the car, at a run!

We did notice that the Rig over in Sheerness had some of it's lights on, maybe it was too dark to work on it!

No, we're still here!
This afternoon we have been banned to the office cos The Missus is doing more of her videos and this time, instead of using her iPhone she has been trying out her iPad.

It seems that there is a possibility that the thing may wobble when she gets around to stamping on the thingy's with the smoothie!

It looks like it will be OTL looking at the problem and applying his engineering knowledge to provide a stable base.

Rather him than me!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Too Hot!

Hello Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

Wot a day! I mean, I don't think I've been so hot this year! It was hot when went out this morning and Holly was not a Happy Puppy cos before we went out there had been a very big storm pass over us full of thunder and lightning and the thunder had made Holly so scared that she had jumped onto the bed for a cuddle with Old Two Legs!

The thunder and lightning doesn't really bother me but Holly had been scared by Whizz Bangs when she was a puppy and has never forgotten it!

As the day went on it got hotter and hotter and even the ferrets stopped running around and instead they went off to find a cool spot.

OTL had put one of those freezer blocks under their blanket to help keep them cool and by midday the sun had gone around the side of the house and the temperature had dropped a little.

Down on the sea front there was a breeze blowing and we didn't hang about too long. Diving into the forrest where it was a little cooler.

We had to deliver a load of stuff to one of OTL's customers which was OK cos we could have the air-con on which made it nice and cool in the car!

Back home for some late lunch and a snooze with the curtains drawn, just to help keep the temperature down a little!

I can see that we will have an early night and let's hope it will be cool enough to sleep!

Bye for now!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

It's getting hotter!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

I don't know what it's like where you are but in North Kent it has been hot, blooming hot!

It was too warm first thing this morning when we went out. Normally we would have a game of 'Chase the Sniff' but today it was just a plod across the field, a couple of wee's then back home to breakfast!

Back home even the ferrets went into hiding and refused to rampage, more like wander and snooze!

One good thing about living close to the sea is that if there is a breeze, we get it and although is was  warm and sunny, there was still a breeze, not much but a breeze never the less.

One thing spoilt the walk, no water!

It was only wet miles out to sea!

Now, here is a sight you've not seen for a while, two trees!

We'd show you the bench but there was a female Two Legs sunbathing on the bench!
That rig is still parked up in Sheerness docks, we some times see electric Arc Wielding on the deck.

It's still there!
We sat down on a bench and a whole load of TL's came marching past, I think they wanted the bench but there was no way we were going to move!

Find your own bench!
Sometimes we see small Hover Flies buzzing around but today there was a big one having a wash and brush up on an oak leaf as we passed.

..and a little sanitiser under my wings!
Back home there was nothing to do except enjoy the breeze blowing in the window!

It's going to be another hot one tomorrow, don't forget the Factor 35!

Bye for now!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.
