Holly gets into trouble, again!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

A fun day here in North Kent! It started off with May and Eric coming out for a walk first thing this morning. It was then that Holly got in trouble.

You see, Holly has got a thing about Big Hairy Arsed woofers that look as evil as they could be. You know, the sort of woofer who would bite your head off instead of saying 'Good Morning' to you.

There is Bert who everyone stays well away from and there is these two evil eyed Husky types who are always on a lead and they spend all their time pulling their Two Legs around!

Control is just not in their vocabulary!

So, there we were about to get out of the car when Holly spots these two across the other side of the football field. Old Two Legs opens the back door of the car expecting Holly and I to have a sniff around the tyres on the car while he gets the ferrets out and attached to their lead.

Not today, today Holly opens her mouth and gives it some wellie and heads off across the field!

OTL starts yelling for Holly to 'Get Back' but that command seems to go through one ear and out the other!

There she is, lolloping across the field and up to the woofers and stops, just beyond the length of the lead these two are on.

Then she gets into the play position and gives them the old 'Chase Me If You Can' look!

Of course they can't get to her 'cos the TL is hanging on for dear life and Holly is waggling her butt at them and blowing raspberries!

OTL is not happy and is marching across the field in the opposite direction to his normal path!

On top of that, he has a wriggly ferret who wants to get down a 'sort out' the two Husky Types!

Holly is put on the lead and there she stays until we get to the bench on the hill!

Miss May was having a game as well. She got to where the fresh rabbit poo is located and plans to have another roll!

OK, you watch out while I have a roll in this fresh stuff!
Lunchtime Wendy and Monty came out but as we got close to the football field it started to rain. Miss Wendy quickly crawled into the Ferret Bag while young Monty had great fun racing along the path.

Unfortunately, the rain got heavier and wetter but he still kept going!

OTL picked him up and put him into the 'Ferret Bag' but he jumped out and carried on running down the path!

Holly and I legged it back to the car while Monty was bouncing along and looked like a drowned weasel when he got back to the car!

Back home we got a good rub down with our Doggy Towels and even Monty got a rub down as well!

Holly got a warning from OTL, any more chasing big woofers and she will be on the lead for all the walk!

See you all tomorrow!

And we thought it was the Whisky!

Hi Woofers!

It's us here, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Now, you know that Old Two Legs is back to taking the ferrets out for a walk, morning and lunchtime? Well, this morning it was Monty and Miss Wendy's turn to go out for the morning walk. Normally it is much cooler in the morning so the ferrets don't get too warm!

OTL was getting Monty and Wendy ready and noticed that Wendy was acting sort of 'funny'. OTL, being and experienced animal owner realised straight away that Wendy had a Ferret Kibble Biscuit jambed between her upper teeth and couldn't break it up or chew it.

It was stuck.

OTL picked her up and gently opened her mouth, stuck his finger inside her mouth and levered the biscuit, from the back to the front of her mouth.

Out came the biscuit and Wendy immediately grabbed it again, crunched down, shattered the biscuit and then proceeded to eat all the crumbs!

The only thing was, Miss Wendy had done a little mini 'Fear Fart' which means she had to have her butt washed by OTL before she could go out!

Out she went and had a great time bounding about across the football field!

My Butt is still damp!
Monty discovered some holes that the rabbits have started to dig and of course he just had to 'Investigate' every one, plus he had to help by digging them just a little deeper!

Hellooooo! Is there anyone there?
Of course, the rabbits had been long gone by the time he found the holes, I mean, can you see a rabbit hanging around when Holly and I were sniffing around?

Lunchtime it was Eric and Mays turn and although it was a little warmer it was still good enough for a little rampage!

They both investigated the rabbit holes but decided to go off hunting rabbit poo!

Where have all the Rabbits Gone?
Miss May managed to get a lift down to the sea shore and a carry half of the way back but as she is getting to be a grown up ferret we understand she needs a lift every so often!

Eric sees her getting picked up and immediately rushes up to OTL for a carry as well but quickly gets fed up and scrabbles to get down again!

OK, can I have a carry now?
Now, after all this walking and carrying we got back home for a bite to eat and a snooze while OTL headed off to the Optometrists for a checkup. You see his right eye has been giving his problems of late and he finally decided to get it sorted.

Well, he had his eyeballs checked, pushed, poked and had to wear a special set of glasses where they could change the lenses to see if things got any clearer!

In the end it was decided that his left eye was working as it should but there was some 'Fogging' in the right eye.

Now he will have to go back to the hospital where they did his cataracts and get his eyeball zapped with a laser gun to clear up the fogging.

All very 'Star Wars'!

We told OTL that his 'Misty Eye' was due to the whisky, so, now that has been proved wrong, he is going to order another bottle for the weekend!

It's a good job us woofers don't have to wear glasses, I mean, they would keep on falling off if we had our head in a rabbit hole!

See you tomorrow!

Out for a Walk with Ferrets!

Hi Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

It's Tuesday and it's getting cooler out there! Although it's not uncomfortable, you can tell Autumn is on it's way and we haven't had our 'Late Holiday' yet!

Old Two Legs has given all us Four Legs our first dose of anti tick stuff so we must be about four weeks away from the holiday!

I do hope there is a beach we can all use, the ferrets just love a good dig in the sand, mind you, so does Holly and I!

Today we took Eric and May with us first thing this morning and although May did ask for a carry, she got to have fun digging in a big pile of rabbit poo!

Now, I'm going to have a roll in it as well!
Eric was sniffing around but when he headed for the poo OTL pulled him away!

Wot's so special about her!
Once again there were loads of Mini Two Legs on the beach, normally with their Grand Parents but we are not allowed on the beach 'cos OTL wants to stop Holly from getting infection in her eyes when she ploughs the sand with her nose!

Also, when the tide is in I would just love a swim but again, OTL thinks I could end up stinky or get a Grumbly Tum from swallowing the water!

Yep! It's Holiday Time again!
On the way back, OTL spotted a beetle scurrying across the path, so down he gets and focuses up on a spot in it's path. He was just about to take the shot when I walk past, treading on the beetle!

At that point the beetle turned around and headed back!

So that was it, all OTL got was the beetles butt as he headed off into the grass!
Lunchtime we were going to take out Monty and Wendy but when OTL looked into their cage they were both fast asleep and snoring their tails off!

So, that was it, we got a run without worrying about other woofers and our ferrets!

Back home there on the work surface sat two tins of doggy scoff, so we know what we're getting for dinner!

See you all tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

Monday, Fun Day!

Hello Woofers!

We're back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

We had a nasty scare this morning. We were heading for the Sea Wall, along past the dead nettles and brambles when we heard what Old Two Legs described as a 'Wailing' sound coming from the bushes.

We did some investigating and found that there were loads of snails all hanging onto the stalks and sounding sort of 'Hysterical'!

We found out that they were expecting a Tsunami to wash up the beach today and wash everything away!

Now, these Bozo Snails said that there was going to be all manner of doom and stuff last week and what happened?

Nuffin!

Holly said it was a case of 'Snail Hysteria' but as they run so slowly, normally the catastrophe has taken place before the snails could do anything about it. Like, this Tsunami was supposed to happen yesterday evening!

Doomed! We are all Doomed!
Mind you being late didn't stop them from climbing all the way up overnight!

Get Off and find your own boat!
Holly and I left them to it and headed for the water, trouble was, it hadn't come back in yet!

So much for a catastrophe!

I think they all have a doom complex!
Lunchtime we took Wendy and Monty out for a run. It was warmish but not too hot. They hadn't been out for some months so a trip around the sea shore was a pleasant change and they g=had a great time sniffing the sniffs!

The clouds were still holding some rain drops and you could see where the aeroplanes had left their trails!

Planes and Rain in the wind!
There were clouds over Essex but not too much rain.

Wonder if it will be cool enough for Eric tomorrow?
With a bit of luck it will be May and Eric's turn tomorrow and providing it doesn't rain, they will be out with us tomorrow morning!

Must go, dinner is being served, OTL's dinner, and we want a bit!

See you tomorrow!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Sunday Jobs!

Hi Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret again!

We love Sunday's, they are sort of lazy but full of fun and games!

All morning the ferrets have been playing in The Missuses card stuff. Wendy ends up sleeping under the pinafores in a plastic Tupperware box!

Monty does his best to get into every bit trouble imaginable from ambushing Old Two Legs as he heads for the kitchen and breakfast through to hunting out TM's sponge 'Smoothies' and hiding them in every hidy hole known to a ferret in this house!

Miss Wendy is the 'Biscuit Hoarder' and spends time robbing the 'Brambles Biscuit' bowl and secreting them in the workings of the sofa!

Miss May does the same but tends to fall asleep inside the sofa, well, she is getting o a bit and needs the rest!

Now, Eric, he is the biggest ferret we have and he loves charging about all over the place. He picks on Old Two Legs by jumping up on OTL's back from the top of the ferret cages!

Monty loves his tum being tickled and after jumping onto OTL's lap he rolls on his back and laughs his tail off as OTL tickles him!

It won't be long before we get the ferrets coming out with us for our morning and lunchtime walks. This panorama of the estuary will give them an idea of what they are missing!

Early Morning colours.
Monty loves the seat cover on the sofa, he rolls about all over the place and of course, as soon as OTL sees him there, Monty gets his tummy tickled!

Ooooooo! That tickles!
Monty also loves to jump out onto OTL's leg as he passes the sofa! Mad as a box of frogs!

Wot's a box of frogs?
Lunchtime I was planning to have a swim but unfortunately the tide was out and all there was mud!

Hey Holly, fancy a Mud Bath?
Of course, there was no way that Holly Chops was going anywhere near anything that is made with water!

So, there we were sniffing the sniffs and watching OTL chasing around looking for more insects to photograph!

A Buff Tailed Bumble Bee.
Last night we got a small nibble of Kebab but it was only a small bit 'cos OTL had the rest!

So, after that Holly and I returned to our bowl of chicken!

Monday tomorrow so I expect that it will be back to work again, guarding the house, keeping OTL on his toes and checking to see that the ferrets don't pinch all the 'Smoothies'!

Bye for now!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Relax, it's Saturday!

Hi Woofers!

We're back again! Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

After all that rain yesterday and last night it has been good to see the sun and feel the gentle breeze on a woofers nose!

Even if it has the sniff of Kebab from somewhere up the river!

This morning the sky was almost clear of any clouds, just a few fluffy things in the distance that didn't bother us at all!

How mornings should be, all year long!
We met up with Meg who was out with her Two Legs. We all had a sniff and caught up on the 'Sniff News' and discussed the big German Shepherd Dog that was woofing in the distance, he's only six months old and yet to learn his manners!

Yep! I can hear him, he's a Big Baby Bozo GSD!
Back home The Missus had gone up the Village Hall for another Master Class in Glue Splashing and Glitter Sniffing!

I don't know just how she manages to get it all in her hair and around her nose! In the evening when the side lights are switched on, she looks like a family of Glow Worms flying around!

Lunchtime we were down the Sea Wall again and Old Two Legs found a Chalkhill Blue that kept on flying around, then landing on the same plant. So, there was OTL, kneeling in front of the plant while this Chalkhill Blue kept flying around and landing for a slurp.

OTL wanted him to open his wings out fully but it refused, so this was the best shot he could get!

You are lucky I have landed so be quick or I'll fly off again!
So, not the best but worth showing you what a Chalkhill Blue looks like!

We had the same trouble with the Large White we came across. These butterflies seem never to land for more than two seconds, so it's a real pain trying to get a shot but today one landed just ahead of OTL and he swooped in and managed just one click of the camera, pity it was from the back but you can't always get them posing as you want!

OK, let's look at the map again!
We just loved the description of Archie Babe trying to look innocent while standing there with a mouth full of Love Hearts!

He has just got to be quicker than that!

Mind you, we have been taught not to pinch stuff unless it is for us but that doesn't stop us from pinching each others 'Treats' like Rawhide Chew, Jumbones and Teeth Cleaning Chews!

There is normally a punch up going on at the same time plus OTL telling us off for making such a noise!

OTL has been promised a Kebab tonight, so, if we are in luck, we may get a little bit of Kebab to nibble on!

It was good to see that Auntie Sue managed to stay afloat down in the wilds of Romney Marsh. You have to watch out for sneaky Tsunami's down that end of the world. I remember when Holly and I were down there and Holly fell into a ditch and came up almost jet black with the mud that stuck to every bit of her!

She didn't like the shower she had when she got back to the caravan!

Happy Days!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

The Thoughts of Holly Einstein!

Hi Woofers!

It's us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Today has been a sort of 'Wet Day', like it started to rain as we were out walking this morning, mid you, the clouds looked a little dramatic!

It looks like rain!
We managed to miss the morning rain but on our lunchtime walk the rain started in earnest and we just made it back to the car before the heavens opened up and everywhere got a good washing!

If it comes down any more the sniffs will be washed away!
Well, it did, in fact there was so much water being dumped that it filled the pond up to the top!

That should keep the frogs happy, never mind the other things that lurk at the bottom of the pond!

We did like the idea of a couple of paella pans full of meaty stuff just waiting to be eaten providing the council to set fire to the grass!

Mind you, we are rather partial to a bit of fish fried in batter, preferably a bit of cod!

We loved the idea that Archie Babe's Two Legs has got an itchy bit, Holly says it must run in the family 'cos Archie suffers from an itchy butt and has to get it squeezed every so often.

Does that mean his TL will have to get her butt squeezed!

Now, there was the question of a 'Mixed Bag of Weather' from Mrs Goodes.

Holly Chops says it is rather simple really. A Mixed Bag means you can get several types of weather at once, say rain and sunshine. That way you could find yourself getting wet and rusty and rain dripping off your nose while at the same time the sun can be burning your butt!

It is in conditions like that you will see a rainbow but not from your butt!

Just watch out for the Horizontal Rain together with a Snow Blizzard, that could give you icicles on your bits!

Holly Chops has spoken!

Bye for now!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

We don't do wet!

Hello Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Well, what a change today has been!

We went out early first thing this morning and there were drops of rain all over the car and windscreen!

Walking on the Sea Front wasn't too bad, just the occasional drip on the nose!

We were down early enough to see the last bit of the sunrise, we reckon soon we will be looking for those deep red sky's and dramatic clouds!

Not the best we have seen but it's a beginning!
Now, you can tell it has been raining 'cos the snails were climbing up the plants getting ready to climb above the impending floods!

Well, that's wot they said!

If I hang like this I can see the water climbing up the stalk!
Mind you, they were not the only ones trying to stay dry. We spotted this tiny moth hanging onto the stalk and trying to look inconspicuous!

We reckon this moth was about six millimetres long!
Then we saw some more snails hanging on to the bushes. Do you think they are a new breed of Tree Snail?

It could be a new species of Monkey Snail!
We got back home just in time, the rain has been falling all day. Around lunchtime we took one look at the pond being splashed with rain drops and decided we would not be going out! OTL had to go down the carriers on his own!

Archie Babe would have been proud of us, we both stayed on our beds and refused to take a step closer to the front door!

We might go out later this evening, just for a quick wander around the garden, providing it has stopped raining!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,
Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

It's almost freezing!

Hi Woofers!

We are back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Well, what a change it was this morning. We woke up and it was still all warm inside the bedroom and office. So, another warm and muggy day!

We got out and Old Two Legs took his fleece with him! Did he know something we don't?

Down on the football field the wind was blowing in from the West and blowing the trees about all over the place!

Just look at those leaves turning over in the wind!
There were clouds up in the sky and the temperature was at least ten degrees lower than yesterday!

Now it wasn't too bad, I mean, we didn't go wobbly with the heat and the sniffs were still there, even after the rain that came down last night.

Not that we heard it, we were too busy snoozing!

Lunchtime the clouds blew away and the sun came out and it was warm enough for OTL to leave his fleece in the car!

The tide was out so bang goes the swim!

I don't know what it is but it's got a strange sniff!
The wind was still arriving from the West so we were getting sniffs from up river which is London!

Hey! I can sniff some serious Koffte Kebabs!
We got home still sniffing the Kebab and we were presented with our dinner...........Doggy Scoff!

Dinner tonight for OTL will be curry, so no chance of mugging him!

The ferrets have been sleeping most of the time because of the heat but if the weatherman is correct, we should be getting some cooler weather over the next week or so and who knows, they may get a chance to get out for a run!

I'm off to see if the Doggy Scoff looks any better, who knows, it might even taste better!

See you tomorrow Woofers!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Something Different Today!

Yo Ho Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Well, another sort of lazy day where nothing too exciting has taken place, I mean, we have had The Missus sorting out her stock room and putting loads of stuff into crates to go up to the next meeting at the village hall.

Eric and Monty took it in turns to help TM get all the stuff sorted out.

We didn't think TM was too happy about it 'cos as soon as she had shifted all their toys out of the room they rushed back stored all the rubber balls back under the boxes and of course then there is nowhere to store the card stuff!

Guess wot ferret got into trouble!

Going out for our walk OTL decided to take two cameras with us. First thing in the morning the sun wasn't bright enough to give any spectacular results, so we took the little camera and clicked away!

OK, so we let OTL do some Fiddly Diddly on the sky!
After that we decided to chase a big hairy tailed German Shepherd Dog and make sure he remembers we deserve some respect.

Well, that's what we told him and the fact he was on a lead helped!

Yeah, you and whose pack Bozo Brains!
It was lunchtime that the sun was strong enough to almost set the trees and bushes alight!

We haven't been here for a few weeks!
Mind you, leaving the path alone for a while means that a new batch of sniffs can mature to produce some very interesting sniffs!

OTL had some good news today, it seems that he is due some of the income tax he has to pay up front!

So, a quick trip down the bank to cash the cheque made him a happy puppy. Not that it was a lot, it was just the fact that he got some money back!

Hey! This sniff is well matured!
So, another day of being lazy, curling up in a shady spot and enjoying a snooze!

I wonder if Izzy and the gang are enjoying having their Puppy Sitter to look after them?

I don't think I would be happy letting the Two Legs go off on their own on holiday, I mean, you just don't know what sort of trouble they could be getting into when left on their own!

We don't trust OTL or TM to be on their own, we have heard tales of OTL getting into all sorts of trouble when he has been away with his cousin Alun so what sort of trouble would there be with TM in tow!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.
