Sorry, here's £25 for your trouble!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

It has been a slow sort of day, Old Two Legs took us out first thing this morning and it was raining.

Lunchtime The Missus took us out, and it was raining.

OTL went off to the dentist, and it was raining.

It's been a sort of wet day today!

We knew that OTL was off to the dentist for a check up and that we would be taken out for our walk by TM but she didn't want to go on our normal route, something about it being too wet, too muddy, too bloody steep!

She is such a show off!

OTL got a letter from the Water People telling us that our water had been cut off for five days.

As if we didn't know!

However, as some recompense, they are going to send us a cheque for £25!

OTL says he is going to invest it in a bottle of water, 'The Water of Life' just in case the mains blow again, well you won't be able to make a cup of tea with it but after a few slurps you won't care anyway!

Good news, the dentist could find nothing wrong with OTL's teeth, and the inspection and an x-ray confirmed that!

It still cost him forty smackers though!

OTL has been busy this afternoon, he got one of those Dash Cams and has installed it into the big car. Don't know why he has got it really, unless it's to record where he has been so if he gets lost he just has to run the video backwards so he can get himself 'unlost'!

We got an email today saying that the order we placed for a DVD from the Harry Potter series is being dispatched today!

OTL says it's called 'The Crimes of Grindelewald' and is a follow on from the Fantastic Beasts DVD!

You know, it doesn't take much to get him excited!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

First the rain and wind then the sun shine!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Another fun day here in North Kent!

It was very windy first thing this morning and there was some rain in the air as well. Old Two Legs left the camera at home in case it got too wet!

In the mornings Holly and I get some shut eye while OTL cleans the ferret cages and allows them out for an hours rampage around the house.

Miss May gets her medication mixed with some lactose free milk and Eric gets first slurp from the big bowl of 'Ferret' milk!

Then it's play time!

Miss May spends her time eating the 'Brambles Biscutes'  while hiding underneath the sofa!

Eric, on the other paw, plays 'Hunt the Squeaky'. Today OTL managed to find fourteen squeaky balls and tennis balls and squeaky toys Eric had hidden under the TV!

Now that's not a bad haul but it didn't get The Missuses approval 'cos Eric had pinched one of the brand new Smoothies that TM holds dear to her heart!

OTL couldn't find it anywhere, so, Eric is still in trouble! Mind you, he now knows where the new smoothies are kept and as soon as he has worked out how to open the drawer, there will be all hell let loose!

Lunch time we were back down on the sea front but this time Eric and May were with us, seeing how they were still awake when it was time to go!

When they first set paws on the ground it was Eric who wanted to get into the bag!

This is just too windy for my liking!
On the sea shore OTL put them down on the concrete sea wall and Miss May nearly fell down the step. She was walking one way but looking another way!

Soppy Missy!

OK, who took the ground away?
Luckily she didn't fall off and soon she was scrambling up the grass path ahead of Eric who was still asking to be put into the bag again!

Holly suggested we chase them up the path but OTL said he would chase us if we did!

Come on you two, one paw in front of the other, move!
It was all OK 'cos by the time we all got to the top they were in front of us and trotting along!

Every so often May stopped for a breather and Eric stayed with May until she was ready to carry on.

I remember when May used to walk beside her sister when she got out of breath. Now it's Eric's turn to help May along!

Tomorrow OTL is off to the dentist to get his teeth checked, let's hope it doesn't cost too much!

See you tomorrow!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Another storm coming!

Hello Woofers!

We are here again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

I thought that the Spring was well on it's way but today has been horrid!

Old Two Legs says that it's all down to Gareth, who ever he is, and pretty soon he will raining on us and blowing the trees about!

I reckon he got here earlier than expected 'cos this morning it was raining with some rather strong wind blowing us into the bushes!

That wind don't 'arf get up yer tail!
Once we were into the bushes the wind dropped, clever OTL!

That was a bit draughty!
Lunchtime we were back out again and even with all the high wind, the blossom was still hanging onto the trees!

Now, don't it just look pretty?
Even when we went around the corner and got another blast of wind, the blossom was still hanging onto the tree branches!

This Hawthorn blossom is quite tough!
OTL got called out this afternoon to do some repairs at the local school. He reckoned that if he got down there by three he would beat them when they came out at three thirty.

What he didn't realise was the buses that take the little darlings home, were blocking the entrance to the visitors car park and it took him a whole half an hour to get to reception!

Holly says that the storm will still be here tomorrow morning and it looks like we will get soaked!

Mind you, if it's too bad both Holly and I will have a touch of the 'Vapours' and won't be able to go out!

Well, no further than the poo spot in the garden!

We haven't seen the flogs for a couple of days, Holly says it's because they don't like the rain.

How can a flog hate rain when it spends all the time in the pond swimming around making flog splawn?

We got chicken tonight and the promise of a chew if we eat all the chicken!

As if we would leave any chicken in the bowl!

See you tomorrow, providing the rain eases off!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

The begining of another week!

Hi Woofers!

It's Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret again!

After an exciting weekend we have settled down to busy week!

It started with Old Two Legs falling out of bed early this morning!

He didn't hurt himself but he did wake Holly and me!

Holly showed off and went down stairs to stay with The Missus while I gave OTL a kick and went back to sleep!

It wasn't long before he got up and after a slosh in the shower, we all headed off for the morning walk.

The sun was up but so were the clouds.
We didn't meet any of the woofers that we would normally see but we spotted a bird nest box someone had put up in the tree. Holly says that it looks like a box a Blackbird or Thrush type of bird would use, mind you I would rather have a door to keep the rain out!

No one in there yet!
Lunchtime was a little warmer but still windy. Holly sneaked off and had a roll in a sniff and totally ignored OTL when he was jumping up and down and calling out 'NO!'

Yeah, you got to catch me first!
The sun had come out and the blossoms looked all bright and pretty. It's a pity that the hawthorn blossom will have gone by the time the other blossoms burst forth!

Now, don't that just look pretty?
You know, we didn't see any rabbits today, not a single one to chase!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

They sniff better now!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here again!

Sorry about yesterday, we had some serious engineering to do with the shower. You see, OTL got a replacement system and while the shower heater unit worked OK, we had problems with the mounting screws.

The screws were in different places to the original unit, so, OTL has been measuring, filling holes, water proofing mounting plates and loads of technical stuff that ended up with him working way past the time when the sun goes down!

You will be pleased to know that it all came right in the end and now the Two Legs in this house hold all sniff like wot they like to sniff like!

Mind you, Holly and I are keeping a close eye on them, just in case they fancy doing some more testing with the shower and Doggy Shampoo!

This morning we were out between the showers that were forecast for today, Old Two Legs studies the Internet weather radar and then it's a race to get us down to the sea shore, a quick wee an poo and back to the car again!

There was nothing exciting regarding the sunrise, in fact it was difficult to see most of the time!

Yep! There is is, over the back of the trees!
Holly and I were sniffing for rabbits and we managed to miss one that OTL pointed out. He's good at spotting them cos he is tall and can see further that us woofers!

This way! He went in this way!
OK, well, you can't get them every time!

Yes I know, it's not the best sun rise we have ever seen!
Lunchtime was just the same except we got to see as hip coming into Sheerness and the waves were splashing all over the front of the ship!

Blow the main down Bonnie, blow the main down!
It was better when we got back home and OTL tried to catch the Flogs swimming around in the pond but they saw him open the kitchen door and dived down to the bottom of the pond!

There it was, gone! Just like the rabbits!
OTL has managed to get a pile of paperwork that needs his attention but he says that Sunday is a day of rest, not that he gets much rest when we are all around!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

It all went 'Pop' again!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

Well, not much has changed since yesterday, every time the Water Men mend the pipe, another bit goes pop and we are back to the beginning again.

Now, remember me telling you about the kettle going wrong? Guess wot?

This morning Old Two Legs had got up and wandered into the bathroom for a shower, the water was hot and under he went. He was soaping up all his important places with shower gel and generally enjoying the whole thing, that was until the water heater went pop and the hot water stopped being hot and turned into a stream of glaciated water to rain down upon his bald head!

Oh! Golly Gosh quoth OTL in his best South London language which included reference to the gods of showers!

Now, we are not saying that the low pressure in the water main caused the heating element to fail, but, coupled with the kettle failing we can only wonder!

Back to OTL.

So, having backed away from the jet of glaciated water, he then set about planning how to removed the mountain of shower gel soap bubbles from his person!

There he was with frothy bubbles dripping off his nose and other parts of his body!

Only one thing for it, take a big breath and walk back under the shower and do the quickest suds rinse in his life!

You should have heard his language!

You know, it took all day until four thirty for the water to get returned to normal!

Tomorrow we should have the new shower delivered and it will be another job for OTL!

Miss May and Eric came out for a walk at lunchtime and as normal, Eric spent nearly all of his time trying to get back into the bag but Miss May was running and rolling in the grass!

She does love a good roll in a sniff to round the day off!

So, in the end all has worked out right, The Missus will be up the hall tomorrow for some glue slapping, OTL will have to install a new shower and we will be looking forward to stretching out on the sofa for an afternoon of watching 'Game of Thrones' catchup!

Who knows, we will get OTL to take the camera out and record some more blossom!

Sorted!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

We are in a disaster zone!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

Just!

Yesterday the water sort of lost it's strength as it was coming out of the tap and it was a funny puddle colour!

Old Two Legs reported that the 'Water Men' were digging up the road and the places where the water pipe ran into our village.

It seems that our pipes are a little old and every time they repair a section and turn on the water, another bit of the pipe leaks and we are back to leaky pipes again!

OTL got sent out to buy some bottled water at the Co-Op so we can have clean water to drink but OTL and The Missus will have to shower in the muddy water!

OTL says it reminds him of the last time he was in Tanzania and the country had run out of stuff for the filter at the local reservoir!

We love hearing some of his stories, they always start off with 'Jambo Bwana'!

Well, while we face the possibility of our village turning into a desert with the lack of water OTL decided that we should 'Keep Calm' and carry on as normal, which means it's walkies time!

Loads of sniffs and the hawthorn blossom is just bursting out all over!
When we get to the top of the hill and look down towards the car park we can hardly see the car because of the blossom!

Well, it's down there somewhere!
As we headed back to the car Holly found a super sniff that just called out for a roll and even though OTL called out in his best 'Souff Londun' accent, 'Gerrtcha Smelly Mutt!' Holly took no notice and got a good wriggle in before OTL got anywhere near her!

Holly does take chances sometimes!
Now, it may be coincidence but, our super duper incredibly expensive nearly new kettle has suddenly stopped working.

Now we are not saying it was the fault of the Water Men but it is a strange coincidence that they both went wrong at the same time!

So, this afternoon TM and OTL headed off to the store where it was purchased from and TM had a 'meaningful' chat with the 'Fault Department'!

Being that TM spent many many years in retail she knows the process inside out and started off by dragging the manager over the counter by the scruff of his shirt collar and telling him the kettle was 'FAULTY'!

Oooo! She can be so persuasive sometimes!

The man reckons the kettle will be back, repaired or a replacement in about fourteen days!

TM has this effect on shop managers!

OTL has got a pile of stuff to get done tonight so I'm going to let him have the computer back and say bye bye for now!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

Guarding is such a hard job!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret and Little Pickles!

You know, we just can't get any more woofers 'cos we are running out of space !

It's been one of those days when Old Two Legs has left us to guard Godwin Towers all on our own. It's no good asking The Missus to help 'cos all she is doing is craft stuff and watching TV to see if they use her cards on the crafty channels!

Boring or wot?

Today it has been wet and windy and windy and wet!

We did manage to get May and Eric out at lunchtime but even May had to get back into the ferret bag a couple of times on the walk around the estate!

OTL has been busy manufacturing and he had to go out and leave us all alone!

Holly and I sat at the window watching and making sure no one tried to get in. Then we found out that the water pressure was right down, seems there was a leak in the pipes just outside the village and as well as loads of water, there was also loads of stones and soil and muddy water cascading down into the village!

It was late afternoon by the time OTL got back and it was straight in and back to manufacturing again, totally ignoring us woofers!

So, that was it, we had nothing to do but stretch out on our beds and watch him work.

It's a hard life!

We are off now to see what we can mug tonight, I mean, all this guarding makes a woofer hungry!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret and Little Pickles!

We name you.........................!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Seems we have started a ruckus asking for a name for our new team member!

We can't call him after a whisky or Old Two Legs will be trying to drink him!

Cuddles is good but being a rufty tufty ferret, being called cuddles might just get you bullied!

Now, we had an entry from Fi or should that be Fee who for some reason hasn't worked out how to leave a comment on the blog. Auntie Fie, Fi, or Fee suggested Pickles!

Now, we think Pickles is good 'cos it has a hint of trouble mixed with a dash naughtiness!

We asked him if he minded being called Pickles and he said it was a good name for a ferret to have!

So, Hello Pickles!

We were up at the normal time this morning and the sun was up just a tad earlier! OTL took his camera with him and ran off some shots of the sun creeping over the horizon!

This one is the bench next to the tree he likes!

You can sit here and watch the sun come up!
Walking a bit further on he got this one which you can see the the sun has just got over the horizon!

A couple of minutes later the sun blasted across the sea and it got too strong to look at!
It was at lunchtime we set off and today Eric and May came with us. Eric was being a little lazy but Miss May was in her element, sniffing the sniffs and rolling in the freshly cut grass!

Miss May loves going out and even if she has Insulinoma she is making the best of what time she can spend in the fresh air!

Because the ferrets were with us, OTL didn't take the camera in the afternoon. We met a few woofers, so OTL took the camera phone but still didn't take any more pictures.

OTL has been busy all afternoon, more manufacturing and working!

Today it is Doggy Scoff and we leave it alone until we have exhausted all options of pinching food from OTL!

See you tomorrow and Pickles says Thanks for The Name!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Four Flogs Again!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Well, wot a mess you made of the tiddly task we set you yesterday!

I think we will have to make the task a bit easier!

Yesterday when The Missus got back from her glue slapping she showed us a ferret that Auntie Mandy had made, just for us!

We have put it on the shelf where Old Two Legs keeps his whisky, so that is a very safe place!

Thank You Auntie Mandy!
OK, seeing as you all made a right mess of the task yesterday, here is your new task.

Today you must find a special new name for the latest addition to our gang!

So, no rude names this time and yes, his nose and inside his ears are really pink!

Off you go!

We didn't see any storm today although it did rain last night but to be honest, it didn't wake us up!

No sunrise today!
When we go walking at lunchtime OTL let's us decide which way we can go around the trees and grass areas.

It's good fun going to all the new places for new sniffs!

Hey! Here is a ferret sniff from the last time we were here!
Today it was the turn of Wendy and Monty to come out with us and both had great fun sniffing their way around the walk. When we got back it took just two minutes to get them back into the cage and were fast asleep almost as soon as their tails hit the bed!

Talking of beds, Miss May was out this morning rampaging around the house, as normal, and OTL was busy getting the stuffing back into our Woofer Bed that normally is kept in the back of the car.

Today it had just got out of the washing machine and was dried off in the airing cupboard.

Miss May decided that today, instead of falling asleep under the sofa she headed for the bed and, well, she fell asleep!

Trouble is, it sniffs of ferret!
Eric tried to get in for a cuddle as well but Miss May decided she wanted the whole bed to herself!

Maybe tomorrow Eric can have a snooze in the bed, if he's a good boy!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!
