More Rollin Stones!

Hello Woofers!

We are back again, Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

You can tell Autumn is a coming, on some trees the leaves are all gone and the leaves left on the other trees are getting ready to fall!

With the leaves gone you can see for yards!
Another sign is the paths, they are getting muddy and soggy so we have to wipe our paws before getting into the car!

This morning we left Eric in bed and headed out in the dark to catch the sunrise. Old Two Legs has missed a couple of sunrises and wants to get a 'Good' one before the clocks go back to 'Real Time', unfortunately, today was not his lucky day and all he got was a grey sky!

No sun behind the trees today!
Back home Wendy was still asleep but Eric was shaking the cage door, cross that we left him in bed instead of waking him up for a run!

Mind you, lunchtime he was asleep again, so we left him to snooze!

Down on the Sea Front we found another of those painted stones on the back of a bench, so OTL turned it around ninety degrees and left it for someone else to find!

I might take a wander down on the beach!
As we got back to the car park there was another stone on the 'Notice Board'. How the stone climbed up there we are not sure but OTL moved it along to the end so it could rest against the post!

So, who is this Man United?
Holly and I got to go on the beach and have a roll in the sand. OTL called us both 'Smelly Nelly Woofers' but we didn't care, just as long as we get out roll!

Shove over, this bit's mine!
OTL decided to add his marker to the beach and found a Whelk Shell so he left it at the top of the stairs from the beach. Let's see if it's still there tomorrow!

You are Whelkcome to move me if you want!
Over the last couple of days we haven't heard any squeaking from Miss Wendy, so that means she is getting more tolerant of Eric or he has been keeping out of her way!

If there has been any squeaks in the past, OTL goes in the office and opens the cage door and Wendy comes flying out of the cage door and lands in OTL's lap!

It's her that is making all the noise and chances are that it is her who starts the punch up!

OTL reckons it won't be too long before the pair of them will be found in the same cuddle cup and snoozing!

Crossed claws!

See you all tomorrow!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Stone Me! More Fungi!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Another fun day down in North Kent. Young Eric came out with us this morning for a run. He had been rattling the cage door to attract Old Two Legs then jumping up and down and squeaking!

Miss Wendy slept on gently snoring!

We have noticed some softening in the relations between Eric and Wendy. A few days ago OTL found them in bed together having a snooze but as soon as OTL walked into the office Eric jumped out of bed and ran over to the cage door to get a slurp of Ferretone!

We have notice that when the pair of them are out on a morning rampage they quite often pass each other without and screaming or fighting. So, claws crossed the situation is getting better!

Lunchtime we left them snoozing and headed off to the beach.

Well, the tides out and that mud does look inviting!
There we were, contemplating a muddy paddle. That was until a couple of woofers passed by looking like they were ear marked for a bath and dried with an air blaster!

It was fun but stick to the sand, it's cleaner!
 Holly did enjoy a roll!

It just don't get any better than this!
As we headed back we spotted one of those 'Poo Signs' that Two Legs like painting on walls and poo bins but this one was different 'cos it had one of those painted stones resting on it!

and the sheep is called Shaun!
OTL was more interested in the fungi he spotted. He has had a look in his Fungi Book but there are so many that look alike!

Well it looks like this when it's growing but........

When it's grown it looks like this!
But we still don't know what it's called!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Do you get that 'Sinking' feeling?

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

It's Monday so that means back to work for Old Two Legs, mind you, he hasn't stopped all weekend so it's not so much, 'Back To' but rather 'Carry On'!

The Plumber Men came back and fitted a new kitchen sink to The Missus's specification and now
that is being polished and buffed to a high shine!

OTL has been playing about with cable and stuff, then packing it all up to send off.

Holly and I have been keeping a close watch on the Plumber Men making sure they fit everything properly and don't squirt water all over the place like wot OTL would have done, he's not very good with water!

The vet send a message to OTL saying that it was time we had our Worming Tablet, well it was addressed to Holly and I and there were my other tablets for my 'Condition' but this time the vet didn't need to inspect us cos we got 'Inspected' a few months ago!

Now comes the fun bit, OTL has got to get the tablets down our throats and our throats don't do worming tablets!

Depending on what's for dinner tonight, we could easily demolish half of OTL's dinner before we agree to eat the pill!

Why do they make the pills so large, I mean, we have seen wheels on trucks smaller that those pills!

We didn't bother with the camera today cos it was raining first thing this morning and we were all in a rush at lunchtime.

It looks like OTL will have to book the big car in for a service and some minor repairs at the end of the month or early next month, you know, that motor is all of eleven years old but still runs well. OTL is looking forward to when it's his turn to win the lottery so he can get another on!

See you all tomorrow and Licky kisses to Izzy!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Now Ya Knee Bones Connected to your Back Bone and Your Back Bones connected to Neck Bone and ...........

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

What a weekend! The Missus has been out Glue Slapping and Old Two Legs has been working on the bathroom floor! The tiles are slowly being stuck to the floor but it is a slow job!

Saturday Morning was spent doing his jobs that had to be finished before he started on the bathroom, then off he went to get a new sheet of hardboard to replace the bit that got soaked when the leak sprang from the loo.

It is amazing just how many awkward angles and radius's there are and there you are trying to manoeuvre a sheet of hardboard around to make it all fit!

Then. once that is all nailed to the floor boards, next it is the tiles!

It's amazing how many swear words OTL knows especially when he is cutting out the bit for the loo to sit in!

Then there is the knees, you know, the leg joint that goes the other way to us woofers, it seems that if you are resting on them for too long, they hurt and then the hurt goes up his back and across to his neck which in turn makes his feet joints all stiff and ache like hell!

Well, that's what he says anyway but Holly and I had great fun watching him work away all over the weekend while we rested on the bed looking at him or woofing at the neighbours walking past our house, until TM rang to get OTL to pick her and all the bags of glue from the village hall!

Now, we have just heard via TM's FaceAche that Little Izzy has been poorly as she has done some damage to her leg and kneecap!

That means she must stay in her cage for about six weeks so the operation can mend her leg!

Six weeks in a cage! That would drive us mad! However, if it mends properly she will be back and running about again!

But six weeks? It's enough to give you the horrors!

You have no idea just how boring this is!
Loads of love and licks Izzy!

Now it's back to the bathroom to see how many more tiles he has done!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

The Weekend is Here!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here again!

It was not so chilly this morning when we went out for our morning constitutional, it was almost warm! Mind you, there was a breeze blowing which stopped us taking off our warm harnesses!

No, I think I'll leave mine on thank you!
Mind you, we looked across the mud flats and there were loads of birds paddling in the muddy pools looking for breakfast!

You know it's the devil's own trouble getting served here, it's just too popular!
Over the last few days we have been finding a brand new moth on the walls or ceiling and Old Two Legs has been spending time looking in his books trying to find it, with no luck.

The Missus whips up her phone, gets onto the Internetty Thing and comes back with....'Looks like a Box Moth'!

So, with that lead, off goes OTL and sure enough he finds that this Box Moth, Cydalima perspectalis,  was first found in the South East back in 2007 and lives and feeds in the Box Tree Plant, a sort of small dense hedge.

Just like the one next door neighbour has surrounding her garden!

Bet you not seen one like me before!
According to information on the Internetty, the moth has been found as far north as Scotland, but they don't say wot part of Scotland!

The wings are a cream colour with brown edging all the way around and in the breeding season they have a fluffy tail!

Strange!

They seem to have originated from East Asia and slowly spread across Europe and now have landed in the UK!

We suffered from an algae in the pond, nasty green slimy stuff that looked horrid. OTL spent a long time raking it out with his hands but today we noticed it had all gone! Let's hope it stays away cos it looks Yuk!

Walking through the trees you can see the leaves changing colour and the oak have all dropped their leaves already!
Here comes Autumn!
Tomorrow TM is off to the village hall for some more glue slapping and dancing around with baskets of glitter!

OTL has got to dig out the spare bathroom tiles and do some serious engineering!

Us woofers are looking forward to a good rest while he works his tail off!

Poor Lad!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret!

It was on a Thursday Morning that the Plumber came to call!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

We have had a day here when we reckon Old Two Legs won't want to see again!

As you know, the Plumbers were called on an emergency 'cos we had a leak in the bathroom and nowadays OTL is banned from messing about with water!

Well, along they came and sorted out the leak but The Missus wanted a bit more stuff done and before OTL could object, there was a new bathroom suite being nailed to the floor!

Lucky for OTL, he had to go and get new tyres fitted to the big car, all ready for winter!

To start off, we were up early for a run but again, missed the sun rise and it was all orangy sort of colour!

The sun is on the right hand side!
While we were looking at the sunrise, OTL was clicking away but we didn't know what he was playing about, that was until we saw the rabbit sitting in the middle of the path chewing on a blade of grass!

The hole is just in front of me, so you have no chance!
Not exactly playing the game, I mean, we normally have a run around the field before it gets lost in the brambles!

OTL got back for our midday walk and just for fun, both Holly and I decided to pose on the park bench!

Shall we hold up a paw up and look all cute?
This weekend OTL will be working on the bathroom floor replacing some tiles, so that will keep him out of trouble!

Today there has been a lack of screaming from Miss Wendy but I don't think she is getting any softer towards Eric, more like saving up her energy for a right punch up tomorrow!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

Another Busy Day!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

It's been a fun day today, chilly this morning on our walk but warm later in the day.

Eric has been a bit of a pickle today, he has tried his 'Charm Offensive' on little Wendy.

Mind you, Wendy has been a pickle as well, there she was this morning, sniffing around in the 'Office' when she bumped into Eric who had his nose under some blankets on the floor.

Eric was looking for monsters and Wendy was looking for whatever was making a sniffing noise.

That's when the fight started and Wendy flew at Eric to take a lump or two out of his ear. Old Two Legs dived down in between the pair of them, well it was his hand that went in first and Wendy thinking it was Eric's ear, tried to take a lump out of the 'Ear'!

Oh Golly Gosh, quoth OTL, Oops! Says Wendy as soon as she realised that it was OTL she was trying to dismember!

Before any lumps were removed form OTL Wendy let go and started to lick it better!

Eric ferreted off to find some other sniffs while Wendy spent some time making it up to OTL and enjoying a slurp of Ferretone whilst at the same time watching Eric out the corner of her eye!

Just in case!

The morning run was too late for the sunrise and too early for the sun shiny day! Still, with a bit of careful hopping around on one leg to get the sun behind the bushes OTL managed these!

First the sun behind the bushes.
A couple of quick hops and a wiggle on a clump of grass and........

Now the sun's behind the tree!
You would be amazed to see just how fast we are rotating around in circles, before we could get to the sea wall, the sun was up and the sky was turning blue!

That was quick!
OTL had to go out to see one of his customers so The Missus took us out for the midday walk and the sun was making it all super warm!

While we were out OTL sat down in the office and took a look at Miss Wendy, checking her out for any injuries she may have received when Eric retaliates.

No harm done, just the odd mark from Eric's teeth. However, there OTL was, having turned Wendy onto her back to look at her underside when Eric climbed out of the opened cage door, climbed onto OTL's shoulder, crept down his arm, reached Wendy who was on her back, and then told OTL 'That's it, you hold her while I get a sniff!'

That's when the fight started again!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret.

We're Back Again!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret here!

Back home again after our super holiday in Scotland. We did sleep very well last night, all that driving back from Gretna along the motorways, dead boring!

We had to keep Old Two Legs company 'cos The Missus had her Bluetooth Headphones on, listening to the last two weeks worth of 'The Archers',  I mean, it's enough to send you to sleep, which it did and the snoring was terrible!

We had a stop at the services on the M6 Toll road and pulled faces at the big truckers parked up in the Truck Park!

The only hold up was about five miles from home but it didn't worry us cos we could sniff home when we stuck our noses out the window!

This morning we had fun sniffing the sniffs down on the Sea Wall and reading the message board!

Just look at the sniff spots!
We missed out on the very high tides yesterday but we inspected the shore and the sand was pushed well up the to the sea wall!

I bet it was fun watching the tide come in yesterday!
Holly has been a bit of a misery paws today, she said she missed the sea and the sand of Scotland and wanted to go back again!

All those dead bird sniffs and Nelly Fish, it's just not the same!

We came back to some good news. Young Ethan won this at  school for best athlete  and also for  encouraging other team members on! He takes after his Grandma, she is always 'Encouraging OTL' to get on and do something! Trouble is, he doesn't get any prizes!

Best Athlete!
Well done to Ethan!

We had to have the Plumber Man in today, OTL found a leak in the bathroom and traced it to the back of the toilet. It started of with a repair but by the time we finished, a new toilet, hand basin and pedestal had been ordered! This is The Missus doing her 'Encouraging OTL' bit!

I think OTL wants to join Holly and go back on holiday again!

By the way, the ferrets are still fighting and OTL is considering his next move!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss Wendy and Eric de Ferret

Packing up for tomorrow.

Hello Woofers!

Us again, McDaisy, MacHolly, McWendy and Eric de MacFerret!

Now, you all know that the view from the front of the caravan is the beach and a vast expanse of water!

Now there are plus and minus to this. If the sun is shining and the sky is blue the view is fantastic but when the rain s pouring down and the wind is blowing a gale, the best place to be is in bed!

This morning was one of those times, it had been pouring down all night and it kept waking us up!

Today is the day we take down the awning and pack up all the card making stuff.

Old Two Legs is good at this and The Missus also has her own ideas on where everything should go!

It’s only the technical bits like taking down the satellite system and DVD player that OTL has the edge on TM!

The ferrets were banned from the caravan while this was going on and spent most of the morning in the back of the car watching the world go by and calling to the birds in the bushes.

Finally all was done and the ferrets came back inside the caravan for a more comfortable snooze!

Now, today is Archie Babes Two Legs birthday, we know that ‘cos TM has told us, in fact she told us last week ‘cos she was making a special card and had to make sue she got it in the post early enough. In fact, OTL was instructed to ‘Get the card down to the post box!’

Which he did!

Now, what we can’t do is to send our birthday song by post, so, on the count of one hundred and twenty six...........5, 7, 126!

Happy Birthday Auntie Massey
Making cards will drive you crazy
Better stick to sniffin’ dog Poo
Happy Birthday to YOOOOOOOO!

We’re going to get Archie Babe to give her a big wet sloppy lick on the nose as soon as she has read our song!

We know how to treat the TL’s!

Tomorrow we plan to leave the camp site around six thirty, just so we can get past all the road menders who have been digging the road up over the last two or three weeks.

We are looking forward to the Chinese Take-a-Way and a bottle of bubbly and Plawn Clackers an deep fried Plawns!

We know how to live!

See you tomorrow when we get to Gretna.

Luv,

McDaisy, MacHolly, McWendy and Eric de MacFerret.

Beach Babes!

Hi Woofers!

It's McDaisy, MacHolly, McWendy and Eric de MacFerret back with you again!

Back home we have a camera out the front of the house to watch over our caravan and cars and not only does it record both day and night, we also have the 'live feed' down loadable on the telephone!

Looking at it today we see that it is raining a little more than it is up here!

In between the showers we have been out on the beach with Old Two Legs and his camera.

Now the sun is shining through the clouds and if he tried to take a picture of the sea there would be loads of very white bits that OTL calls 'Blown'!

So, being all technical he has brought his big collapsible Lens Hood that also holds his 'Graduated Filter' and has been 'Playing with the Light'..................show off!

OTL being all 'Arty'!
holly and I decided that we should get in the picture and so when ever he put the camera to his eye, we were there!

See me, see my Sister!
Of course, being that he was trying to be Arty, I decided that I would join in and look all 'Artisan'!

This HDR photo thingy is all very Marmite, me, I love Marmite!
the Missus has been getting all 'Arty' as well and uploaded a video 'Teaser' on what she plans for the next visit up to the village hall when we get back home!

Seems that everyone is going 'Ooh and Aaah!' already, she is another show off!

OTL says he will give Holly and I another brush today, him and who's army?

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

McDaisy, MacHolly, McWendy and Eric de MacFerret!
