It's not the same!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here on the last day of 2018!

It's been a mixture of a year for us all, we lost Freddy de Ferret to old age earlier in the year but have been blessed with little Monty de Ferret who has fallen in love with Miss Wendy and keeps her on her claws!

Miss May is showing signs of age now but she is looked after by Eric de Ferret who gives her loads of cuddles when she is not feeling well and plenty of chases when she has the pickle in her!

Holly and I have been doing well for our age and we haven't been to the vets so often and cost Old Two Legs a fortune!

We have all been away on some great holidays in the caravan and had some super times on the beaches!

OTL had some excitement when we were on holiday, the car decided to throw a wobbler and catch a cold in the engine and had to be 'Rescued' by the garage and driven to the menders to pick up a loan car, (250 miles) then do the whole trip again to take The Missus to a Craft show, another 250 miles, then do it all again to collect the mended car and TM and back to the caravan site, (another 250 miles)!

It's a good job OTL likes driving!

We are planning to go back to the same beach and caravan site in 2019, twice!

Claws crossed that the car behaves its self and claws crossed for some sunny weather like wot we had this year!

Today is the last day in 2018 and OTL had to go out at lunch time so we were walked around the foot ball field by TM! That means we don't get our normal walk and Eric had to stay in the cage and miss out on his ride in the bag!

Never mind, he should get a walk tomorrow!

OTL says that he will have a slurp of Single Malt Whisky tonight to 'See the New Year in' and he might have one earlier to see the old year out!

It's tonight we expect that there will be the normal Whizz Bangs at midnight, so Holly will have to stay cuddled up to OTL until it all goes quiet!

Better still, let's hope they have all run out of Whizz Bangs and we get a noise free night!

We wish you all a Happy New Year and may all your wishes be granted, except for the next Euro Millions numbers 'cos we want them here, just so we can have fillet steak every day for 2019!

Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Monty get's Bored!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

How's your day been? Here in North Kent we have not been too active today, mainly 'cos Old Two Legs has been too efficient and got all his jobs done before time and decided to watch some TV, which is another excuse to fall asleep with his feet up! Needless to say, us woofers jump up onto his chair and cuddle up and have a snooze as well!

Well, what's good for OTL is OK by us!

This morning we were up early, no I don't know why, so that means we were down the sea shore early, which means it was dark and because it was cloudy, we didn't see any stars or UFO's just the glow of the moon behind the clouds.

A bit boring really!

Back home all the cages were sorted in double quick time. Miss May had a cuddle with OTL and fell asleep in his arms for half an hour or so. She does that a lot nowadays, OTL says it is because she is getting old.

He also uses that as an excuse for doing the same thing as well!

The ferrets get a run around the house for an hour or so until they get too tired and find a sleeping place in The Missus card store or under the sofa. Miss May woke up from OTL's arms and had a ferret around until she found her Lactose Free Milk and some Brambles Biscuits and headed off to bed again in her cage. Eric was behind the boxes in TM's store room but came out when OTL squeezed the Squeaky Chicken, Eric is a big sucker for a Squeaky Chicken!

After May and Eric retire, out comes Monty and Wendy for their rampage. They chase each other all over the house, in and out the chairs and the cardboard tubing OTL puts down for them. They also love the plastic shopping bags to roll around in!

There are times when Monty gets a little adventurous, he climbs up the side of May's cage and then taunts May and Eric through the bars on the top of the cage!

It's alright, he can't get me, I'm standing on the tray!
He has to be careful 'cos Eric tries to nip his paws through the bars! Painful!

Get off my roof or I'll be up there to sort you out!
Luckily for Monty, OTL rescued him from the top of the cage and put him on the floor where he could blow raspberries at Eric!

Lunchtime Eric came out with us, we were going to take Monty and Wendy but they were fast asleep and Eric was awake and bashing the cage door, so he came out with us!

He spent most of the time sitting on OTL's hand in the bag with his head poking out the top, watching the world go by!

No thanks, I'm quite comfortable where I am, keep walking!
We got stopped a couple of times by Two Legs who wanted to stroke Eric and go Oooo! Aaaah! over him, as normal, I mean, it's not as if they have never seen a ferret before!

Oh Gawd, more TL's to stroke Eric!
Mind you, when we got to the football field OTL put Eric on the floor and made him walk all the way back to the car!

Back home again for some more snoozing!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

A Hard Days Snoozing!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

You will be glad to know that there were no punch ups today!

Mind you, when Eric got put back into his cage he spent ages climbing up the cage door and giving it a really good shake!

We went out at lunchtime for a walk and a wee but Eric decided to stay in the bag and watch the world go by from the top of the bag!

He was put down on the ground for a run several times but would only run back to Old Two Legs and climb up OTL's leg to get back into the bag again!

We reckon that he can't wait until Spring time when the weather will be warmer and he will feel more like having a run in the grass.

We will have to get Wendy and Monty out for a run 'cos they haven't been out for a week or so.

When it comes to lunch time they both have been tucked up in their sleeping blankets and refused to come out!

OTL says that they will have to stay awake by not letting them go to sleep!

That will of course be a difficult thing to do!

Today we have been lazy, watching DVD's and catching up on recorded TV programs.

The Missus has been plonking about with some cards and perfecting a Multi Layering Technique that she hopes to demo up at the village hall when that glue slapping starts again in January.

She has been banging the card with a strange array of tools, like bottle tops and credit cards and cotton buds and fuzzy edge paint brush!

No, don't ask, just go Oooo! and Aarh! and Mmmm, Interesting!

We hear that Archie Babe will be rid of his neighbours soon, the ones that don't like his choice of fence panels!

It's nice when you can start off the New Year on a positive note!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret

Just a Little punch up!

Hello Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

We had a bit of fun this morning, Old Two Legs had almost finished cleaning out the ferret cages. Miss May and Eric had been out charging about and got sleepy so she hid in the innards of the sofa. OTL found her and enjoyed a cuddle with her in his arms while she gently snoozed!

She is getting on a bit now and needs her sleep more than normal, plus it takes a while for her to wake up!

A bit like OTL really, he always takes time waking up!

Eric and May were back in their cage while OTL cleaned Monty and Wendy's cage. Eric, was still wanting to rampage was rattling the cage door. Monty was hunting for nibbles that may have been hidden in and around the office.

Wendy, on the other paw had decided that she wanted a snooze in the box where The Missus keeps her Pinafores she wears when crafting, a super place to snooze, all warm and soft!

So, we have Wendy snoozing in warm place, Monty behind the bottom drawer picking up Ferret Nibbles and Eric rattling the cage door 'cos he's still awake and wants a game!

OTL gets a bit fed up with Eric making such a noise and opens the cage door, picks Eric up and plonks him down on the desk top and squirts some Ferretone into the flip top cap.

Eric licks his lips and dives in for a king size slurp!

OTL goes back to cleaning and goes off to the bathroom to wash out the cleaning cloth.

Eric, finishing the Ferretone decides to go for a wander and soon finds the tube that leads from the desk top all the way to the floor.

Landing on the office floor he was about to head out of the door when he hears a scrabbling sound coming from the bottom drawer.

Mmmm! Must be Nargles or Nifflers stealing our stuff concludes Eric and in a flash he was into the drawer and out the back.

That's when all hell broke loose 'cos in the back of the drawer was Monty, rearranging the nibbles when, from a great height came Eric who hunts Nargles for breakfast and Nifflers for dinner!

There was a great deal of squealing, squeaking and crashing about!

There was Fear Farting and Weeing and biting and clawing!

Oh Gawd! Says OTL as he started to pull the drawers out and stack them on the desk top. After taking the three drawers out he dived into the empty space and grabbed Monty as he was about to sink his teeth into the tail of Eric!

Next Eric got picked up and deposited into Monty's clean cage while OTL marched Monty into the bathroom for a quick wash down to get rid of all the wee that covered him!

To keep him out of trouble he was put into the shower cubical and the door shut while OTL went in search of Eric to treat him to a wash and brush up!

Eric was put back into his cage and Monty was dried again and taken down stairs to have some milk and nibbles while OTL finished tidying up the office and the cleaning stuff!

It's a shame that the two ferrets don't get on together, they would have so much fun chasing around the house but I think it is a 'Territorial Thing'!

Lesson learnt by OTL and Monty has a tale to tell to Wendy!

See you all tomorrow'

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

We couldn't eat a Whole One!

Hi Woofers!

Here we are again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

Well, the day after is always a bit of a come down and down here in North Kent it's the same!

To begin with, Both Holly and I were banned to the bed room when Old Two Legs second cousin turned up with a Mini Two Legs. Now, OTL knows we don't do Mini Two Legs and normally we end up growling and woofing at them to 'clear orf'!

So we end up in the bedroom with the door shut! The ferrets were only allowed to look at them from inside their cage 'cos OTL said they were partial to a Mini Two Leg Finger or two or three!

Gnash, Gnash!

Sorted them out!

Lucky they didn't stay long, so we got our full walk at lunchtime.

Down on the football field there was a Mini Two Legs getting a ride on her new 'Grown Up Bike'!

Come on, push down on the peddles!
We headed off to the bushes looking for a rabbit or two but we didn't see any! They must be tucked up in their beds snoozing the day away!

No rabbits here!
We were exploring all the bushes where there is normally a rabbit or two but there was nothing, not even a little white tail bobbing about!

Holly reckons it is because of the Two Legs, too many TL's stomping about has sent the bunnies back to bed!

Well, I still say it's the TL's!
Once we got over the hill we could see the cause, too many TL's!

There were loads of them, all with woofers off leads and running about woofing and sniffing and sniffing and woofing!

Woofing at the Wormy Man!
They were running up and down the Sea Wall, sniffing and woofing and then they started to woof at us!

Well, I got right fed up with them, so, I did some woofing, I was far enough up the hill not to worry about them chasing and they were about my size as well!

Holly helped by telling them I was a champion woofer with a mean attitude to boot!

They kept moving!

Yeah, don't hang around she can be a big bag of trouble if she comes down here!
They didn't hang about!

When we got back The Missus was getting all excited about going down to Bluewater but we decided that she could go on her own 'cos it has just got to be packed solid with TL's trying to max out their plastic!

Well, that gave Holly and I a chance to stretch out on the sofa and sleep off the big bowl of chicken we had been served!

A woofers life don't get much better than that!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

And we all Share in a Poo Tree!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

We hope you all had a super Christmas Day like wot we did!

We dined on Fillet Steak followed by a big bowl of chicken all freshly cooked, still hot and greasy!

The steak was really just a small bit  we managed to snaffle from the Two Legs but it tasted rather nice!

We had some super prezzies, there were nibbles and squeaky balls and bouncy balls. The squeaky balls were for the ferrets and they had a great time jumping on them then hiding them under the TV!

We just loved the card we got from Archie Babe and the little poem in side, it went.......

Here is the tree
I like to Wee,
You can use it too
To hide you when you Poo!

Now that is great, only Archie Babe could think of that!
You know that  tickled Holly Chops and she just couldn't stop from laughing!

We settled down for the Official Foto, but that only lasted a couple of seconds 'cos Holly kept on laughing!

Hey! Where's your Poo Tree?
OTL took twenty photos before we got this one we could use!

We are not laughing, honest!
OTL got some CD's of Sea Shanty Songs and has been singing along with most of them, we didn't know he knew so many!

There was one called 'Being a Pirate' and involved a pirate loosing bits of himself, like one eye, one ear, one hand and the last verse was rude 'cos it involved him loosing a bit he didn't have two off!

We have been putting our paws up today, very lazy and snoozy sort of day.

The ferrets stayed in their cages, rather than come out with us for a walk 'cos there were just too many woofers out walking and it would have been too dangerous letting them down for a run!

The Missus has been playing with her coffee making machine and is now making her way through a mountain of different types of coffee, some we have never heard off!

OTL has been assembling his Moth Trap, getting ready for when they come out again nearer to Spring Time!

He says he will try it out tonight, just in case there are some moths in the garden but we think he will be out of luck!

We are off now, dinner is calling!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret

Yo, Ho, Ho, It's The Night Before Christmas and all through the House...............

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

Well now, have we been having some fun today.

To start off with, The Missus was up early this morning. Seems she is all excited about her new Jet Powered Vacuum Cleaner. It's more powerfully than our last one and it picks up so much dust and fluff we thought at one time it was ripping the pile out of the carpets!

When she jumps aboard it flies off at a terrific rate of knots, more like a Moon Rocket!

Holly had a great idea, seeing how there are loads of new children who will be getting prezzies this year, we have loaned TM and the Jet Powered Vacuum Cleaner to Father Santa Paws so that she can help deliver the prezzies!

We are expecting her back around midnight when someone else takes over!

This morning we waved Bye Bye as she headed over towards the back of New Zealand where the deliveries start.

She is still learning how to fly the cleaner but we reckon she will pick it up by the time she gets there!
Bye Bye Missus, there she is passing the moon!
Holly was keeping a watch out on our morning walk but OTL said that she was more than likely just starting the run!

Well, she will be chasing the sun all the way back here.
We have been digging out Old Two Legs old socks to hang up tonight. They are a bit moth eaten and there are holes in them as well but we don't mind, just as long as we get a nibble or two!

Now in the past we have got together a picture that included all of us but this year we elected Eric to wish you a Merry Christmas.

So, from all of us to all of you...........

Well done Eric!
Loads of luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret

The Best Christmas Prezzie!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret back with you again.

We had a bit of fun today, sort of!

It started off with us getting up a whole half of an hours later than normal. Well, there is nothing better than a Sunday Morning lay in!

Although the sun was up earlier than yesterday we still didn't see any glow in the sky. It was just too cloudy and inky black!

There were a few of the woofers out for a run including that yappy little Yorkie we saw yesterday!

He stayed well away from us today!

Flashy, Flashy!

Back home a terrible thing had happened, the vacuum cleaner ceased sucking, wouldn't blow and would only turn the sweeper roller!

Panic, how are we going to sweep up all the crumbs and bits of fluff that get dropped onto the floor?

We dug out the old carpet sweeper but that would only spread the crumbs around refused to collect them in the dust bag. Well it's not really a bag, more like a plastic tray that 'Self Empties' if you don't hold it the right way up!

There was no ready solution except.................buy another one!

So, after some research on the InterNetty Thingy, a new cleaner was identified as a possible replacement to the now defunct thing that was heading towards the dust bin!

This new one was designed to cope with 'Animals'! I suppose that means us Woofers and Ferrets!

Mind you, Holly and I don't moult, unlike the ferrets, they moult twice a year, Spring and Autumn time. However, as Old Two Legs pointed out, we do make a load of crumbs on the carpet, you know, carrot crumbs, woofer biscuit crumbs, Bramble biscuit crumbs and cheese biscuit crumbs. Then of course there is the ferret made crumbs made from Bramble Biscuits, oops! We mentioned them before!

Then there is the Ferret Biscuit crumbs, well the list goes on and on especially when we get onto the crumbs OTL and The Missus make when sitting on the sofa!

Of course, there is the paper bits TM produces when she is chopping up the cardboard that is being made into cards!

Terribly mucky!

So, off to the electrical shop and there, sitting on the shelf was an Animal Vacuum Cleaner!

The girl at the till soon sorted it all out, took the money and said Happy Christmas, to which TM replied, With A Vacuum Cleaner?

You know some TL's are never satisfied!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

Did you see it?

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

Normally we go for our morning walk in the darkness and we come back in the dark but today we woke up just a little late, so that means we saw the 'Pre Glow' of the rising sun!

Well, it's a bit earlier today!
OK, well I know it's only a tiddly bit earlier but it is earlier!

Spring is on it's way and then Summer follows and that means swimming in the sea, digging in the sand up in Scotland!

To celebrate , the Wormy Men were out this morning, a sure sign that the light had come and tide was out!

Quick, there is another one there under the sand!
One of the things against being late is that you meet up with loads of other woofers and being dark they don't know who you are until they get up close. Take this morning, there we were sniffin' the sniffs when this loud woofing noise came bounding down the hill planning to do all manner of stuff to us, that was until Old Two Legs whipped his camera out, switched on the flash and took his picture!

Woofin' Heck! What the *$^&! was that!
That stopped him in his tracks, he took one look at where the flash had come from, woofed once and then legged it back up the hill!

That'll teach him!

The rest of the day has been spend cuddled up to OTL on the chair and watching TV, well, It's almost Christmas and all of his customers have closed up and won't open again until the New Year.

OTL says that it's great having a holiday but he does get a bit bored half way through. That's his trouble, he's a Work Junkie!

Maybe we should get him a job with Santa Paws delivering prezzies, providing he doesn't get stuck down the chimney!

Chicken tonight!

The Missus has been resting her eyes, it's OK but the snoring is a bit loud and as we have to turn the volume up on the TV but as soon as she wakes up she shouts at OTL telling him to turn it down!

There are times when you just can't win, well that's what OTL says!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Eye, Eye Missus!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Here we are again, The Missus had her Cattle Rack done yesterday. It was late in the afternoon when she went in and late by the time she came out!

In fact it was so late that dinner was cancelled and Old Two Legs had to get a Chinese Takeaway!

Not that we worried, Plawn Clackers, King Plawns and Specially Flied Lice!

Mmmmmmm!

This morning her eye looked rather red and sore but OTL has been putting drops in her eye and it seems to be better, not perfect but getting better!

She is resting her eye by watching TV and programmes that have been recorded, mainly cooking programmes. You know, it's strange that she watches so many cooking programmes but we still get Doggy Scoff from a tin while OTL has to make do with salad and cold meat!

Do you know that today is the shortest day of the year?

Well, it is!

As from tomorrow the days will be getting longer and both Spring and Summer is on it's way!

Yippee! I can almost feel the warmth on my tail!

Mind you Eric still reckons it's really too cold to do too much walking!

No, I'm staying here until the sun shines!
Once we got to the Sea Wall OTL emptied Eric into the concrete and told him it's time to walk!

Eric was not a happy ferret!

Do you realise just how cold this concrete is?
He was soon back in the bag again and spent time with his nose poking over the top of the bag!

From the top of the hill we can see right out to sea and we all climbed up onto the table just to see a bit further. All that is except OTL who stayed on the ground 'cos he is tall enough to still see further than us woofers!

That's a long way over there!
Being high up worried Eric a little, as he says, it's not the getting up, it's the getting down that bothers him!

It's a long way down, someone give us a paw!
Of course, OTL caught him just in time and after he was on the ground I showed him how to get down, woofer fashion!

See, it takes an expert to do it properly!
On the way back to the car we spotted the flowers on the bushes, makes a nice change to see such colour this time of the year!

...........and it's not even Spring yet!
It was good to see Sarn again from down there on the South Coast. TM's Eye operation went well and claws crossed it may be better by Christmas Day!

Archie's Boy has been to the vet? Well, that's good 'cos TL vets are free, unlike woofer vets who charge a fortune! I reckon that the pills will soon get him up on his paws again!

So, that's about all for today, every thing is OK here and Holly is still moaning about being on a diet!

See you all tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

It's Getting Closer!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

Well, surprising as it may seem, the rest of the UK isgetting snow, rain and winds while us load of softies down here in the South East are getting sun shine and balmy breezes!

Old Two Legs keeps on about when he was young, seeing frozen cob webs on the bushes but now he reckons he has more chance of sun burn than frosty fingers!

Well, as much as I like the snow when it first falls, I'd rather have the weather we have today, mild and sunny!

As normal, first thing we go out in the dark and the sun is still in bed as we head back home but that's OK with me!

The ferrets were in a good mood this morning, Miss May decided she would have an extra half an hour which was no problem 'cos OTL can work around her!

When she did wake up she was out and chasing Eric around the lounge! First he chased her then she chased him and then they both chased The Missus!

Being a few years old, Miss May gets tired quickly and soon headed off to her hidey hole under the chairs!

Eric is always up for a game and even though he stayed up a bit longer he was soon fast asleep cuddled up to Miss May!

Monty and Wendy were just as active and while OTL was cleaning their cage the pair were dooking and chasing each other in and out of OTL's legs!

Lunchtime we headed back to Grain and had fun chasing in and out of the bushes. Of course, Holly was dragging her tail a bit and kept on getting lost!

Come on Holly Chops, keep up!
Just before we headed up the hill we found a strange sniff, not too sure what it was but it was 'Strange'!

Well, it's not me!
On top of the hill we decided to climb up onto the table to get a better view. The tide was on it's way out so we didn't fancy a swim or even a charge along the beach!

Nah! I don't fancy getting my paws wet today!
As we came off the bottom of the hill, there is a seat with a load of stuff like bird feeders and cards with poems on them. Holly and I had a sniff of the wreath which had some pointy bits sticking out which stuck into my nose as I got too close!

A funny sniff but the sharp bits are a bit dodgy!
We still have to eat Doggy Scoff but we are getting used to the taste and even Holly is eating all of hers!

I must admit, I don't eat all of it but I get enough and reckon when we go back to the vet in January I might have lost more than Holly!

OTL has got curry tonight but I don't think we will be getting any nibbles off the plate, so we have to just sit and stare at OTL and try to make him feel sorry for us poor starving woofers!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

A Sleepy Day!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

We are soooooo sleeeepy today! We have been up, marching around the house doing our guarding and waking Old Two Legs up to report on what we have been doing!

He was so pleased he let us carry on while he stuck his head under the pillow and tried to go back to sleep!

So, off we went again and at the same time we were singing our 'Guarding Song'.

We got up a little late this morning!

It was still dark when we got down to the football field so OTL left his camera in the car!

Even Venus was hiding behind the clouds!

Back home we decided to have a snooze while OTL got on with some work. He was mumbling about being kept up half the night with us doing our job!

Lunchtime it was bright enough to get down the sea wall via the hill.

As we climbed up the hill we looked over to the church and the Christmas tree on top of the tower.

St James Church and tree!
The building to the left is the junior school. It got burnt down last year and is now almost rebuilt!

Once again Holly offered to race me up the hill but I had better things to do, like getting my nose into some good sniffs!

On your bike Holly Chops!
Now getting our butt checked for Christmas isn't what would head our Santa Paws List!

I would have listed Beef Bones or Chicken Strips, rubber balls or even squeaky balls!

The Missus is getting her Christmas Prezzie early 'cos on Thursday she gets her second eye ball sorted. So that means she will be getting OTL to deposit drops into her eye over Christmas.

Mind you, OTL has got to wait until after Christmas before he gets his eye sorted!

Good news is that since we have been on a strict Doggy Scoff diet Holly's butt has improved and her Grumbly Tum has gone!

I can see that we are going to be on the scoff for a while until OTL is convinced that it is all cleared up.

Mind you, the thought of Doggy Scoff for Christmas Dinner is not on my list!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

Star Gazing!

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

Another busy day, the ferrets have been helping The Missus to clear out her 'Card Storage Room', well to be honest, they have been reinstalling the squeaky balls behind the boxes so that every time she shoves the box back on the shelf there is a big squeak which makes her jump 'cos she thinks a ferret is behind the box!

We were a little late getting out this morning and the sky was beginning to brighten up. We spotted Venus up in the sky and as the sky was getting lighter all the other stars were disappearing, but Venus was still shining bright in the sky!

Look! Right in the middle!
OK, it was there but doesn't stand out much. So, Old Two Legs had a twiddle with the controls on the camera and zoomed in so that it looks like this!

OK, Just a little camera shake!
You can see that the sun was creeping up in the sky but while we were waiting the sky started to glow. In the end we got fed up with waiting so off we went, back home!

Well, it looks pretty
At lunchtime we headed off to the sea shore but this time we took the new way around the back of the fort. Of course the fort is on a hill and Holly suggested we race each other to the top. Well, I took one look and decided that I would be ahead of Holly in no time but I may be missing new sniffs on the way up!

So I didn't!

Come on, race you to the top!
Just for a change, we dropped down onto the beach, the sniffs were there but full of sea stuff and the rubbish that flows down from the docks!

Well, it's a sniff but not as you would like it!
I think that we will be kept off the beach and only go swimming when we got to Scotland.

If we are lucky enough, we plan to spend our Spring and Summer holidays back on the Mull of Kintyre again. Loads of sand beach and the water isn't deep so that means even Holly can go in for a paddle!

Do you realise that in six days the nights will be getting shorter and the days longer and summer will be on its way!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

Christmas has come early for The Missus!

Hello Woofers,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

Well, Old Two Legs managed to get all his 'Mending' done and what he can't do is being sent back to the manufacturers! Well, he can't do everything!

Mind you, he woke up on time this morning and we got a look at Venus twinkling away up in the sky!

Back home Miss May had trouble waking up, she is getting slower nowadays but there are times when she has a game of 'Chase' with Eric but takes longer to recover. Still, she is about six and a half!

Eric enjoyed ferreting about and he found a box of Ferret Treats!

Now yesterday The Missus was off to the Crop in the village all and had a great time wiv the girls stuffing themselves with Christmas food!

There was much swapping of Christmas Prezzies and TM got loads of chocs and stuff!

The ferrets even got a prezzie from Auntie Gill, a packet of Ferret Bits!

Hey Gang! Guess wot I found!
Trust Eric to find them first!

TM also got an apron but she wouldn't have her photo taken, just in case it makes her

We tried to get TM to wear the apron so we could take a picture but she was too busy baking the Christmas Pud!

Mind you, she had been 'Tasting' the brandy, just to make sure it was the right stuff!

Does my Tail look big in this?
Of course, we just had to include the Rosette's Eric and May won at the Harrietsham Ferret Show!

If it was a bit smaller I could wear it as a neck scarf!

Lunchtime we were out and OTL bumped into an amateur radio person trying to contact someone but stopped when OTL got close. Maybe he should have used a mobile phone instead!

Still, it didn't stop OTL having a chat with him while we said hello to the woofer with him.

So, back home to some Doggy Scoff while OTL and TM pigged out on Pate and stuff!

You know, sometimes it just doesn't seem fair!

 See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

Saturday with OTL

Hi Woofers!

The Gang is back, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

We have had a super Saturday, a Busy Doing Nothing type of day. Early this morning we were out in the dark. That's 'cos we are now back to normal again after the late mornings and early evenings!

This morning it was not only dark but there was a wind blowing from u the River Medway, so that means we didn't hang about too much, just a sniff and go!

The morning was spent under Old Two Legs desk watching him doing some repairs and reprogramming of radios for one of his customers. By the time lunchtime walk was here he had done most of it.

We left the ferrets at home on account it was getting colder and there was even some rain floating on the wind.

We took a new route to the sea shore today, up and around the old fort. In fact at one place we had to turn around and got back 'cos the path came to an end and we couldn't climb out. Well, Holly and I could have but OTL being an Old Duffer would never had made it!

Again, because of the wind and rain, we didn't hang about too long but at least we found some new sniffs on the new path, I think we will have to go down there again!

Back home OTL opened up a can of Doggy Scoff and while we were eating he went off with Wendy and Monty up the village hall where Rosie was waiting to say hello and have a cuddle.

Now that Wendy has her winter coat on she is extra soft and cuddly! Eric, on the other paw has not got his winter coat cos he isn't old enough. We reckon he will get a big winter coat next year!

Mind you, Eric did that and this year he is a Big Handsome Hob which is a good reason why he won his section at the Ferret Show!

Miss Wendy was a little sleepy but she enjoyed a super cuddle with Rosie and even managed to keep her claws out of Rosie's jumper!

So, back home to bed while OTL finished off what he could on the radios, there is one left to look at but he can do it tomorrow.

Hey! Holly has got away with nail trimming today, still there is always tomorrow!

We are glad to hear that the Plawn Clackers landed last night, even if you didn't get a look in!

Sometimes these TL's can be so cruel!

Mind you, it looks like you can get a sausage roll doll from Auntie Sue's mate, I wonder if they taste nice? Well' anything is better than Doggy Scoff!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Tricky OTL!

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

Well, that's another week almost over! Christmas is getting closer and it's getting colder!

We have been looking at the weather forecast and reckon we may even get some snow at some time!

Now, you know how sneaky Old Two Legs can be? Well, he has started again, Holly and I are not happy about being washes shaved and blow dried.

Another thing we don't like is having our claws clipped.

Hate it!

Hate it, Hate it, Hate IT!

So, OTL has been sneaky and every day, just as we have forgotten yesterdays drama, he lifts up one of our paws and SNIP!

A bit of claws goes across the room!

OK, it doesn't hurt but it's the shock of seeing a bit of your paws flying across the room!

Well, over a period of time he has managed to trim my claws, back and front.

Now he is working on Holly's claws and she don't like it a bit and shows off something rotten!

So far he has managed two claws, it's going to be fun when he gets to the dew claw!

Today has been busy, delivering stuff, collecting stuff and running around in circles!

Surprisingly, it has been rather mild. Walking along the sea front it was only the light wind that kept the temperature down but there is some cold heading our way this weekend, well, so the weather man says but down here in the south east we seem to get the best of the weather, so, claws crossed!

Right, we are off to see what's for dinner. As we are on a diet I suppose it will be Doggy Scoff. We haven't had any nibbles at all this week, it can be so hard sometimes!

See you tomorrow, if we survive!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

HMRC & EORI & VAT & BREXIT & Paraceltamol

Hi Woofers!

Us again, Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Well, we still haven't caught up with ourselves, Old Two Legs was half an hour late in getting up, so, we missed some of our normal woofers when we went down onto the sea front.

Mind you, we didn't see the sun come up but there was a sort of 'pre dawn glow' that lit the sky!

Neither one thing or the other!
We spent the morning at home watching OTL doing some bush trimming in the back garden. It's a once a year job that he does and has the same discussion with The Missus, it goes something like:-

Wot you doing?

Trimming the bush.

Don't take too much off cos the flowers won't grow.

Yes they will.

No they won't.

Yes they will.

and I'm telling you they won't

Well, here is the scissors, you do it.

Harrumph!

Lunchtime went on a different path which took us to the top of the hill where the old fort is. There is almost nothing left of the fort and we don't go up there very often but today we just fancied a different path!

Well, it makes a change!
Back home the post had been delivered and one was from the VAT Man at the HRMC. Mmmm! Though OTL, what is the VAT Man  want? Opening it up we read the instruction regarding BREXIT  plans for exporting to the EU if we don't get a deal!

What it said was that we need a EORI  number!

Now OTL has a VAT number 'cos he has got to have one and he has a number of customers across the pond and channel and so far there has never been any problems supplying stuff but now we are all getting ready for the possibility of the government getting a sensible 'Deal'!

Well, OTL spent an hour getting this extra number from the HMRC web site and finally everything fell into place!

However, he still needed some Paracetamol 'cos his brain hurt by the time he had finished!

Holly and I am glad we are woofers, we don't need  a EORI  number!

Now that is finished we are wondering what will be the next thing will come down from the HMRC!

See you tomorrow!

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!

Eric de Spider?

Hello Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret here!

Well, as we said yesterday, a little thing that goes wrong has a habit of ganging up on you and it is still with us 'cos this morning Old Two Legs was woken up by something at four this morning then went back to sleep and woke up an hour later than normal!

Being an hour late, we almost missed the sunrise! It was a quick run along the path until we got to the right spot before clicking off several shots of which this was about the best!

We almost missed it!
Mind you, once the sun was up the temperature did rise a little and warmed our tails up a bit!

Ooh! That's better!
Just for a change, we spotted a Wormy Man out on the mud flats digging for all he was worth.

There has just got to be more worms here!
Back home Holly and I headed for our bed while Eric and May were out for their rampage.

As normal, May headed for the Lactose Free Milk  and Brambles Biscuits in the kitchen.

Eric on the other paw decided he would inspect the rubbish bin in OTL's room.

First you check for sniffs.

Yes, there are some new sniffs in there!
It doesn't take him long 'cos he can sink his claws into the plastic bin liner and........

Up we go!
Of course, he was straight in with no trouble at all!

Yes, Yes, Yes!
Then there is the sound of a ferret hitting the rubbish and scrabbling to find the sniff!

'er! Can someone get me out now?
OTL says that one day the Bin men will take him away!

This afternoon OTL has to take The Missus off to the TL Vets to get her eye checked for Cattle Racks and stuff. I know she has another eye to be Cattle Racked and was hoping to have it all done before Christmas but we reckon that it will be next year, unless they have a cancellation!

Claws crossed!

See you tomorrow.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret.

A bit of a mix up today!

Hi Woofers!

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret back again!

It is amazing how one little thing can change something that in turn alters something else that completely mucks up everything!

Now, take today for instance.

It all started off the day before yesterday when Holly found a sniff that had a tasty something that needed a lick to complete the whole package.

Holly, being quite proud of that was telling me how she found it and I didn't.

Looking back, I'm glad I missed it 'cos yesterday Holly got the Grumbly Tum and the Sore Butt!

Last night, around 02:45hr she was in need of a wander around the garden, so, being Holly, she opened her mouth and woofed!

Old Two Legs was the first up and almost fell down the stairs as he headed towards the back door to let Holly out. Well, after a bit in the garden she came back in and got her butt washed and dried then it was off to bed. This little excursion took about a half an hour from start to finish.

That means it was a whole hour before OTL rolled out of bed and banged his head on the bedroom door 'cos OTL didn't switch the light on!

So, after a shower and a teeth clean we were dragged from under our sleeping blankets and off we went for our walk, leaving the ferrets behind 'cos they had gone back to bed and were refusing to wake up!

Being that late also means that we saw the sky brightening and for the first time in an age, we saw the sun rise!
The Sun is just getting out of bed!
After a little bit we saw.................

Good Morning Mr Sun!
Then, a short while later, there he was all up and washed and teeth cleaned and ready for the day!

Good Morning to another bright sun shinny day!
Mind you, it looked a bit odd, I mean, just how often do you see two suns? Sort of reminds me of that film that starts off......A long time ago, in a galaxy far, far away..............

'er where is Luke Skywalker?
Back home we all had a snooze while the ferrets played and OTL even managed to clip my claws on my left paw!

That means he has done my left and right paw including the Dew Claws!

I was terribly brave, especially as Holly was woofing her tail off 'cos I was getting all the attention!

Mind you, as soon as OTL put her up on the bench and got his clippers out to do hers she was off like a rocket!

She's a wimp really!

Lunchtime we left the ferrets asleep and headed off looking for sniffs, mind you, Holly's tum is still grumbly so it is 'sniffing only' today!

Remember, no licking, sniffin' only!
OTL kept an eye on Holly but she still managed to get a quick roll in a sniff!

By the time we had finished Holly said she felt a little better and was looking forward to a quiet night!

I'll let you know what happens!

Bye for now.

Luv,

Daisy, Holly, Miss May, Miss Wendy, Eric de Ferret and Monty de Ferret!
